Jenna Jameson Is The "Shadow Hunter"

Since many of her fans seem to think that she's looking more and more like a caricature of herself these days anyway (though not us, since all we care about is the fact that she's still pretty on the inside), it might not come as a surprise to learn that porn queen Jenna Jameson has lent her persona to a new comic book series. Debuting in December from the amusingly named Virgin Comics, the series will allow Jenna to do everything she hasn't already been able to do via the special effects wizardry in any of her recent high-profile video appearances: "Working with comics is creatively liberating", she says via a press release. "Everything is possible. My character is sultry, sexy and kicks ass!"

Jenna will be appearing at San Diego Comic-Con to promote the series and will be signing preview images from the comic, thus giving her fans a chance to compare her actual and virtual incarnations side by side. That line between porn and fantasy just gets more and more blurry every day.

Remember the time you picked up that middle-aged swinger couple in an airport lounge in Dayton and went back to their room at the Ramada, dropped some acid, and spent the rest of the evening having sex all over the polyester comforter on their bed? Well, San Diego photographer Richard ChauDavis has captured the vibe perfectly in his "'Room Service' (Images from the No-Tell Motel)" series, in which various ghostly naked forms disport themselves in an environment that's one part amateur porn photo album, one part "Jacob's Ladder", and wholly disconcerting. (And if by chance you haven't had any experiences involving hallucinogens and middle-aged swinger orgies ... well, now you know what we've been through more times than we're willing to admit. But we'll save our own gory details for another post.)
