<![CDATA[The Decade In Porn: Courtney Trouble Looks Back On 2000-2009]]> As the first decade of the 2000s draws to a close, Fleshbot's sitting down with adult industry influentials to learn how the business of pleasure has changed over the past ten years. Our next expert: queer porn maven Courtney Trouble.

You may know Courtney as the founder of indie porn site NoFauxxx.com; she's also one of the fine minds behind Good Releasing's Reel Queer Productions. And now, her thoughts on how the adult industry has evolved through out the '00s.

At left: Courtney Trouble.

Adult entertainment in 2009 looks a whole lot different than it did in 1999. In your opinion, what's been the single biggest change this decade?
I'm young, so the past ten years of porn have really been all I've truly experienced, but I've got to say that in the past ten years, I have seen so many independent porn ventures rise and fall on the internet. A good few of them, including my site NoFauxxx.Com, have really succeeded in creating a long-term brand and legacy, while others came and go like night clubs. With this whole do-it-yourself dot.com take on pornography, I think many subcultures have been able to create, sell, and experience pornography, which I could be wrong but I don't think that was happening in the 80s or 90s. Porn has really moved away from something that lives, breaths, and does payroll in "Porn Valley" and become somethign that anybody can do, and making a living from, all over the world. I think the single biggest change has been not just the internet, but the internet's ability to let subcultures and independant pornographers reach worldwide audiences, making limitless room for creative pornography projects. The big companies can complain all they want about how the internet has killed their profits, but the plus side is that people like me have a chance to do our work and gain visibility.

At left: Baron, shot for NoFauxxx in 2002.

You launched NoFauxxx in 2002. What was the industry like back in those days? What motivated you to start your own site?
I dind't have much part in the "Industry" until much more recently. Back in 2002, I was 19, living in Olympia as a tiny Riot Grrrl nugget, and rebellious against not only mainstream porn but alt porn that wasn't inclusive of people of larger sizes, varied genders, or racially diverse. SG lived in Portland and was still considered the most empowering porn out there, and it still didn't feel like enough - and that was really the motivation behind starting the site. The term "Queer Porn" didn't exists what-so-ever, even though a few things like Ssspread.Com and SIR Productions were making what I would consider "queer porn" back in the day. But nobody called it that until No Fauxxx hit the scene. So, for me, I was creating images for fun, not realising that what I was doing was creating a genre for my work and others to follow.

At left: Tom and Huck, shot for NoFauxxx in 2003.

How has NoFauxxx changed over the years?
It started out as such a tiny site, with just me and a few of my brave friends from Olympia. I was a phone sex operator and was really obsessed with having a balance of "fantasy" and "reality" in my work, so No Fauxxx became an outlet for me to make erotic art that showed the "reality" of the sexuality in my community. The photos were DIY digital on a bulky Nikon CoolPix, couldn't get them much larger than 600 pixels, and didn't even own a light set, studio props, or a video camera. I shot people's "realness," asked them to be themselves, and shot in very natural, intimate places. The goal of realness is still a factor these days, but there's a lot more tools of the trade and high-concept storyline on my set these days. I still really love shooting someone masturbating with no makeup on, that will never change - but I've evolved to use better tools to get that done.

At left: Trouble, shot for NoFauxxx in 2004.

Has it become easier or harder to be an indie pornographer since the beginning of the decade?
In my case, easier. People have really caught on to the indie and queer porn movements, and I feel like investors/producers are more open to picking up DIY film makers to make porn for them because they've realise that, "Hey, these Porn Valley DVDs aren't selling like they used to, but this tiny little company's movies are flying off the shelves." I don't disrespect the work that L.A. performers and directors do, but I do think that the "market" is looking more now towards the kinds of porn that I make - indie, chemistry-driven, fun, creative... The generic stuff just isn't catching the consumer's eye anymore. As far as self-promotion and marketing go, at the beginning of the decade, being active on message boards, link exchanges with other sites, and buying web and/or print ads were really crucial to the success of a small porn site, but now with all the social networks like Twitter and Facebook, just being there, being personal, and being generous with freebies has been enough to keep new visitors coming to my site all the time.

At left: NoFauxxx in 2005.

How has the SF porn scene evolved over the past decade?
Ten years ago, SIR Productions was making films and Good Vibrations had a few titles. SIR even won an AVN Award for Best All-Girl Feature. There really wasn't much going on here aside from that, and hadn't been since the "Golden Era" of SF porn production with the Mitchell Brothers and all that stuff. I musn't forget to mention that GAY porn has ALWAYS been in SF and I don't know much about that industry or how it's changed in the past decade, except with their self-imposed mandatory condoms (wish I could say that about LA) and of course, evolving with the internet just like the rest of us.

Now, you've got all sorts of things going on. To break it down there are 3 main directors; Myself, Shine Louise Houston, and Madison Young; and then the production company Trannywood Pictures, and of course, Good Vibration's Good Releasing launch just this year. (I am the headlining director for the Reel Queer Production line under GR) Now we are seeing porn media from LA and New York take interest in our movies and our stars. A year ago we were breaking into parties at AVN, handing off our burned copies to people like Fleshbot and XBiz. Now they come to us, and this year, nobody's gonna kick anybody off the red carpet at AVN for being a dyke. Just in this past year we've really made it happen, and I think more and more people are looking to SF for great porn of all kinds.

At left: Madison Young, shot for NoFauxxx in 2006.

Has Porn Valley become any more accepting of different body types/genders/etc? If so, what's been the motivating factor?
Kind of. Belladonna cas cast SF queers like Syd Blakovich and Jiz Lee, and hot fatties like April Flores just recently, and some other production companies have accepted them with open arms as well - sought them out even. Vivid has a Vivid Alt division run by artist & pornographer Eon McKai and that has brought more subculture flavor, diversity in the types of women you see in porn, into the spotlight. I don't think you saw many brunette tattooed hipsters in Vivid movies in the 90's. Our subcultures have become porn genres, and again I think it has a lot to do with growing presence of independent adult work and art on the internet.

At left: Avarice, shot for NoFauxxx in 2007.

The internet has obviously had a huge impact on the adult industry. What's been the best change the internet has brought to the adult marketplace? The worst?
The two biggest changes I think have been of course, peer-to-peer file sharing, and social networks. A big company might say that tube sites, torrents, or P2P will be the death of them, and it sucks for the performers to have their scenes blasted for free all over the internet, but I don't think that the tube sites are really hurting the smaller companies at all. It's kind of like when Napster came out and everybody was getting free music, it was almost a socialist thing - the big companies were loosing money, and the small companies and independent artists were getting more exposure, more fans, and more people buying their records and concert tickets. It all really depends on how you look at it, or where you are on that spectrum. And as I said before, having social networks around allows us to market ourselves for free and with a truly personal voice, and that's something I'm sure seemed absolutely impossible 10 years ago.

At left: NoFauxxx in 2008.

Any thoughts on what the industry will look like at the end of the next decade?
I'm seeing events like the Feminist Porn Awards, and the Berlin Porn Film Festival, become more prevalent. I think we could be headed into another "Golden Era" like the 70's when porn was revolutionary, shown in theaters, talked about in colleges, and not taken so much for granted. There are brilliant artists making films and independent companies coming out from their "underdog" status. I think at least for the next few years, porn will be seen more as Art than trash. I can't say it will last another ten years, but I am happy to be a part of it for the long haul.

<![CDATA[JuicyPinkBox Offers An Arty Take On Lesbian Pornography]]> This past July, lawyer-cum-lesbian pornographer Jincey Lumpkin gathered together some of the hottest queer pornstars around, brought them to New York City, and had them fuck in the backseat of a taxi. The results are now available at JuicyPinkBox.com.

Yes, porn veterans like Justine Joli, Madison Young, Syd Blakovich, Jiz Lee, Dallas Fivestar, and Dylan Ryan can be found alongside a cast of newcomers (or at least Justine, Madison, Syd, and Jiz can—at the time of review, only two videos were posted to the site). A stunning cast indeed; but what makes JuicyPinkBox different from other queer porn mainstays like, say, the Crash Pad Series or Reel Queer Productions?

Jincey's said in interviews that she wants to fill a perceived void in lesbian pornography, creating "lesbian pornography that is real but glamorous and cinematic." From what we've seen, she's certainly succeeded in creating something different.

JuicyPinkBox is perhaps best compared to someone like Andrew Blake. There's a very heavy emphasis on art here, with lushly made up models in exquisite outfits rendered in the raw, grainy look of film. Extreme close ups of genitals and penetration are replaced with quick cuts of faces mid-moan and abstract shots hinting at the action. In Jiz and Madison's scene, not a single shot of penetration, or even pussy, is shown—though judging by the fevered look on Jiz's face, a good time was had by all.

Another thing that sets JPB apart from a sea of porno competitors is their apparent belief that brevity is sexy: in an environment where the twenty minute sex scene is seen as standard, JPB offers up bite size boinking in segments under ten minutes. Episode One of Taxi clocks in at 6:44, Episode Two is a slightly beefier 8:23 (though if we're being honest here, we should subtract a full minute from those counts for the extended end credits. No, we don't understand it either).

The staff of JPB has promised weekly video updates, alternating between episodes of "Taxi, "Confessions" (a series of, uh, pornstars confessing), and behind the scenes clips—all of which will contain pornographic content (hopefully some more hardcore than what we've already seen). Additionally, the site promises a new erotic story every week. However, a mere one video and story per week, with not much backlog, makes it seem hard to justify the $25/month membership fee. For now, the Crash Pad seems like a safer bet—especially if you're of the opinion that porn is best with a little (or a lot) of visible penetration.

(While you're making your decision, here's the trailer for "Taxi.")

<![CDATA[Spending A Weekend At Madison Young's "Queer Manor"]]> Madison Young knows that there are those of us who long for a simpler time, a time when corset-wearing ladies ruled over vast manors. In "Queer Manor," Madison transports us back to that time—but with a queer twist.

Well, sort of. To the best of our knowledge, bewigged ladies of the manor weren't often seen rocking facial piercings and tattoos—but if you can forgive Sadie Lune that anachronistic transgression, her scene with Anne Lane is quite hot. Likewise, don't worry too much about what time period Madison Young is supposed to hail from...just know that when she wields that cigar, it is much, much more than a cigar (and don't even get us started on that toothbrush she works Anja over with).

"Queer Manor" is, at its heart, an answer to the question, "What would happen if Madison Young and a bunch of her friends spent a weekend in a mansion playing dress up?" The answer, unsurprisingly, is that they'd make a pretty hot porn with a broader view of sexy than you'd find at, say, "Bree's Slumber Party." Ladies, queers, FTMs, BBWs, and scores of other acronyms are all welcome to explore their deepest desires at the Queer Manor—and for that, we are truly grateful.

<![CDATA[Exclusive: New Carlos Batts/April Flores Flick, "Dangerous Curves"]]> Carlos Batts and April Flores prove that you haven't ever gone for a ride until you've ridden some dangerous curves.

We can't say much about this Big Beautiful Work-of-art, but we can say it's cast with hyphy amounts of crush objects (including a spectacular threeway with Syd Blakovich, Jiz Lee, and April Flores beneath a waterfall), it was shot in the splendorous wild of Northern California, and it's coming out in January. How did they find time to put together another genre-busting film in the midst of productions for Alice? Ponder that while you enjoy this exclusive trailer and photo gallery from our good friends, Carlos and April.

<![CDATA["Frisk Me" Before The Government Finds Out!]]> Here's something the anarchists don't realize: in order to fuck the cops, the cops must first fuck you.

Frisk Me

Studio: Heartcore Films
Director: Madison Young
Cast: Madison Young, Satine Phoenix, Syd Blakovich, Malia Mojado, Raina DeGrey, Mickey Mod, Maestro, Tyler Knight, James Mogul

If "1984" were a million times sexier and set in San Francisco, it would look something like "Frisk Me." In this movie, Madison Young invokes security guards, criminals, the police, the TSA, and Big Brother surveillance in an effort to show the undercurrent of sexual control and voyeurism present in institutions designed to protect us. These may be lofty goals for a porno, but what's wrong with that? Also, there is sex.

The first vignette involves Syd Blakovich and Satine Phoenix getting ready for a heist, dolled-up like Bonnie and Clyde. Then, because getting dressed makes them horny, they have sex. If this seems like a tangent breaking-off from the exploration of Orwellian sexuality, it is, but it's the only one in the film. Furthermore, Syd Blakovich gets eaten out on a piano, and you discover that the female orgasm produces the same dark notes as a Rachmaninoff piece.

Save for that one private romp, every sexual act is designed to blur the lines between dominance and submission, or voyeur and exhibitionist. In the following scene, Syd and Satine tie a bank guard, Mickey Mod, to a chair and try to extract the vault's combination from him. While it looks like Syd has total control—punching and slapping the guard as she pleases—it's unclear who really has the upper hand. After all, Mickey has knowledge the girls need, and for every number he gives out, he's treated to a blowjob, anal sex, and/or Satine fucking herself with his nightstick (which is just a fancy word for a dildo).

Next, newcomer Malia Mojado stirs cake batter with an enormous, pink vibrator. Naturally, Big Brother (played by James Mogul) is watching from an undisclosed location, so Malia says, "If you're always watching me, I'm going to give you a show." As she ravages herself with her 2-in-1 cookware, Big Brother becomes noticeably uncomfortable, and yet he continues to watch. Does he do it because he has to, or because he wants to? More importantly, which of those scenarios is hotter?

The most intense scene has Raina DeGrey, an anxious traveler late for her flight, in the clutches of Maestro, the TSA agent with a no-nonsense attitude. In the course of normal security procedures, Maestro discovers that Raina is wearing nothing but revealing underwear and fishnet stockings under her trench coat. In addition, her carry-on bag contains the following: dildos, dildos in plastic bags, vibrators, black latex gloves, a couple pieces of clothing, and lube. Unfortunately, she has more than 3 ounces of lubricant, so Maestro has to fuck her brains out. Those are the rules.

As harsh as it may sound, it's not surprising to hear a TSA employee addressed in the same manner a submissive would respond to his or her dominator. It's practically the same lexicon of quiet respect and obedience you see at use in airports. It's barely noticeable as Maestro narrates his reason for mouthfucking Raina, stating, "this is my main searching device, this is how I find things."

Finally, in what could've been a much darker scene, Madison Young seduces a cop on the beat with her free spirit, love of art, and penchant for penis. Tyler Knight is undoubtedly the nicest cop I've ever seen; he even bothers to 69 with a girl he was seconds away from fining. If it weren't for the uniform, this scene would be devoid of questions of power, as both Madison and Tyler just seem excited to be fucking. They have chemistry that completely equalizes them as sexual partners, and that alone is worth watching.

On the other hand, maybe you're not into "feminist porn" that undermines the ideals of both Larry Flynt and Andrea Dworkin. Maybe you're not a paranoid liberal who thinks the government is out to—literally—fuck us. That's ok! You'll still enjoy "Frisk Me." The actors are hot, they practice safe sex (with real condoms and everything!), and everybody has a good time. Just watch it (or they'll watch you).

<![CDATA["Crash Pad 5": Now With Actual Padding]]> Feel a little creepy watching porn? Guess what: lesbians think you're creepy, too. In this latest episode of "The Crash Pad," an unblinking techie monitors for your benefit the Sapphic (and bepenised) goings-on at a sex drop-in center for Ladies.

The Crash Pad 5: Revolving Door

Studio: Blowfish
Director: Shine Louise Houston
Cast: August, Stacy Staxxx, Rex, Scarlett Chaos, Red, Cyd Loverboy, Kuma, Julie Warren, Shawn, Mickey Mod

Review by: Gram Ponante

Not that the whole creepy/proxy thing is spelled out. Indeed, little is explained in the "Crash Pad," other than the format for this episode is similar to that of its predecessors: there's someone watching, but she has no bearing on the antics of those she watches.

So if she has no bearing, if no one discovers her, if her watching has no effect on the watched, why do we even see her? No reason, really, other than just the slightest whiff of context always makes porn more exciting. It is like "Wide World of Animals" if Marlon Perkins had just stayed out of the beasties' way.

Well, not really. But we like to watch regardless.

And this episode has a lot to watch, such as the very first scene, in which transsexual Stacey Staxxx offers herself as a birthday present for (at first) dubious girlfriend August.

"It really made me feel pretty," August said.

"So," a no-nonsense bespectacled woman rocking Joanna Angel hair says to a plaid-shirted pickup, "when I saw you at the club you were flagging orange. That means Anything Goes. You ready to put your money where your mouth is?"

Another couple trusses, tussles, and straps each other, the top pummeling her partner's chest in a rain of blows you would not see in straight porn. There is caning, spitting, and an aggressiveness that the viewer feels is just fine with the submissive.

"You want me inside you?" says a bald top wielding a whip.

"Yes Sir," her partner says, flouting the patriarchy it took ages to get Just So.

In straight porn there really isn't such a thing as politics. There is only "When will she do anal?" But in "The Crash Pad 5," the final scene is one that has people talking, has people angry, has people blushing.

The final scene is between sunny-faced dyke Shawn (aka Syd Blakovich) and a man named Mickey Mod. In the world of the scene, he is sitting on the bed of the Crash Pad and Shawn walks in, thinking she found the wrong place.

It doesn't take her long to reconsider. As she says in the BTS interview, "Gender doesn't matter if you find someone attractive." And the scene they do together, featuring mutual masturbation and what I imagine is the first cumshot in this series, is a lot of fun. I hope no one burns down the Crash Pad for it.

"The Revolving Door" is a just a little darker than the other episodes of the "Crash Pad" series, but director Shine Louise Houston shines an expert light on a portion of the citizenry we don't see enough of.

<![CDATA[What Lies "Behind The Red Door"? A Whole Lot Of Sexy]]> There are many reasons to see Carlos Batts's "Behind the Red Door." The first, and most obvious, is that it stars April Flores. But you should also see it to witness the glory of Syd Blakovich as a femme.

Yes, beautiful butch Syd Blakovich dons a bright red wig (the better to match April Flores, of course) and lingerie, and looks fabulous. But we're getting ahead of ourselves here.

"Behind the Red Door" envisions a dreamy dollhouse in which Doll #12 (April Flores) moves from room to room, inspiring erotic encounters with every opened door. The dolls play show and tell, dress up (and undress) for each other, and, of course, fuck: with fingers, toys, and any available body parts (including feet!)...and the result is a delicious, wonderful experience.

Because we have a serious crush on Syd Blakovich, we found ourselves most enraptured with her scene (for those who love her best as a butch—she loses the wig fairly quickly). Syd and April are, in a word, electric—their passion for each other is obvious...and we, frankly, are just grateful they allowed a camera to be in the room when they consummated their lust.

But don't think that Syd and April's scene is the only one worth watching: Kelly Shibari and Ashley Blue offer equally enticing experiences, both on their own and with April—and the mysterious Matador takes April to the limit.

Through it all, the film is carried along by a rocking soundtrack, which—combined with the arty, accomplished camera work—gives the film the feel of a very erotic music video. If MTV screened stuff like this, well...we might actually have a reason to watch MTV. (Of course, if MTV actually showed music videos, period...oh, nevermind.)

<![CDATA[Leave The Closet Door Open For "Seven Minutes in Heaven"]]> There is something Unitarian Universalist about Courtney Trouble's charming all-girl (and trans) spin-the-bottle romp "Seven Minutes in Heaven: Coming Out," but instead of free coffee and homemade lemon squares, newcomers get strapped.

Seven Minutes in Heaven: Coming Out

Studio: Reel Queer Productions
Director: Courtney Trouble
Cast: Joline Parton, Sarah Lee Sinful, Carson, Sophia, Puck Goodfellow, Tina Horn, Jae

Review by: Gram Ponante

In a brightly-lit room in San Francisco, seven women, most of whom have never appeared naked on camera before, and a few of that number that have never been with women before, assemble for a spin-the-bottle party.

There's the absolutely adorable Joline Carson and Sophia, newcomer Sarah Lee Sinful, the dashing Puck Goodfellow, sunny Jae with the "48" ass," down-to-business Carson, and my personal favorite, "sleazy rock and roll faggot" Tina Horn.

And what follows is a testament to how good porn can be if the participants simply like each other.

Director Trouble makes sure to light the rooms so we can see, mic the stars so we can hear, and then she simply backs up and lets them flirt with each other.

Frankly, aside from the extra strap-on action and a lack of fake boobs, there is little difference between "Seven Minutes in Heaven" and a (Courtney) trouble-free "Cousin Stevie's Pussy Party," in that each of the participants knows she is there for the day so she might as well enjoy it.

Doubtful if the director was too (Courtney) troubled about whether this movie would be accessible to a straight audience, but I appreciated that I as a viewer was not made to feel excluded, as I often do when porn aimed outside my demographic shuts me out with manners, rules, and jargon. I felt like I could have been sitting slightly out of frame reading "Tropic of Cancer" while the cast got to know each other, and I would not have been asked to leave.

<![CDATA[Won't You Step Into My "Speakeasy"]]> In "Nostalgia," Courtney Trouble gazed back at the Golden Era of porn, reimagining classics like "Deep Throat" through a queer lens. In her newest film, "Speakeasy," she steps even further back—all the way to the roaring '20s.

Of course, the '20s of "Speakeasy" aren't like the ones we remember from the history books: the dapper dans and gangsters are now transmen and butches, and the flirtations in this speakeasy have a decidedly queer (and kinky) bent. And public sex wasn't the norm in the '20s we remember...but maybe we've just been reading the wrong history books.

Though it's not heavy on plot, "Speakeasy" has enough storyline to carry things along: detective Billy Castro descends into the queer underground to investigate the titular speakeasy, and finds himself submerged in a world of porn noir. Lorelei Lee and Tomcat fuck in the bathroom, Jiz Lee and Dallas Fivestar perform amazing acts of suspension and gushing, bartenders Cyd and Mustache Malone go at it as only two transmen can, and—in the final scene—Billy himself gets the girl, wresting Lorelei from the arms of Tomcat (and getting a punch in the face in the process). And through it all, the speakeasy queers play cards, arm wrestle, and dance with each other to a wonderfully old timey soundtrack.

With the help of videographer Morty Diamond, Trouble's created a wonderful looking film: the footage alternates between black and white and color, with the storyline progressing in old-timey greyscale, only to bloom into full color when the sex scenes begin. The sex scenes themselves are also wonderful to watch—artistic in the best possible sense, with some of the most heated moments arising from the fact that we can't see every inch of flesh in all its clinical glory.

At just under an hour and a half, "Speakeasy" bucks the trend of trying to cram as much action as possible into one small DVD—and its a decision we applaud. In contrast to some of bloated 4 hour compilations we've experienced, "Speakeasy" is a tight, well choreographed production: every moment matters, and the production leaves us just satisfied enough—full, but not stuffed (which is just the way we like it).

<![CDATA[How (Not) To Get Into Porn]]> Vice's Liz Armstrong decided to make some quick cash shooting amateur lesbian porn...and ended up getting seriously scammed. The silver lining to her story? She talked to some queer pornstars, and got the inside scoop on the biz should work.

Featured in her interviews are Syd Blakovich, Jiz Lee, Dylan Ryan, and Madison Young—all of whom educate her on the ins and outs of a business that's poorly understood by most of the mainstream world. Thinking about getting your own start in adult? Read through the advice given by our lovely Crush Objects...and make sure to see Liz's piece for a thorough outline on exactly what not to do.

<![CDATA[Queer Pornographer Lists Top Picks For Dyke Porn (And Debuts Some Of Her Own, Too!)]]> Let's face it: the bulk of the "lesbian" porn out there isn't really intended for real life practitioners of sapphic sex. If you want real dyketastic action, you're going to have to do some digging...or ask Courtney Trouble for suggestions.

The altqueerpornographer has a list of hot picks for lady lovin' ladies (many of which have appeared on Fleshbot as top picks, too).

But wait, that's not all! Courtney isn't just recommending hot queer porn—she's also making quite a bit of it, with her latest release, "Speakeasy," debuting tomorrow night in Atlanta. If you happen to be in the area, you—yes, you!—could be a part of this momentous occasion.

It's all going down September 22 (that's tomorrow) at 8pm at Bellissima (560 Amsterdam Ave., 30306). And we hear that, in addition to screening "Speakeasy," Courtney will also be showing clips from her previous films "Roulette" and "Nostalgia." Quel magnifique!

<![CDATA[April Flores Takes Us "Behind The Red Door"]]> When she's not on tour with her art show, or wooing the likes of Jiz Lee, April Flores is still teaming up with partner-in-crime Carlos Batts to shoot their special brand of porn. Their latest project? "Behind the Red Door."

Pairing April with Syd Blakovich, Kelly Shibari, and Ashley Blue, "Behind the Red Door" takes us into "the Doll House of fetish dreams come true." We're not one hundred percent sure what that means, but it sounds pretty good to us. (And paired with these exclusive previews pictures, that "pretty good" is easily a very good—not that we expected any less from this talented team.)

<![CDATA[On Set With Belladonna's "Strapped Dykes," Or How I Spent My LA Vacation]]> There are lots of reasons to be excited for the autumn arrival of Belladonna's "Strapped Dykes." But the most important one of all? It's going to be full of really, really hot lesbian sex.

Belladonna's "Strapped Dykes" (or as we've come to think of it, "Syd and Jiz Do Them All") will feature seven sex scenes. In addition to Syd Blakovich and Jiz Lee (the titular "strapped dykes," who appear in every scene), it stars Belladonna, Bobbi Starr, April Flores, Aiden Starr, and a happily recovered Sinn Sage.

We had the good fortune to be on set for two days of shooting: last Thursday, we witnessed Syd and Aiden taking each other on; on Friday, Jiz and April got busy right before our very eyes. Above is a video of some of the highlights of our time on set. So you don't have to take our word for it: see for yourself what kind of hotness happens when Belladonna Entertainment goes queer.

<![CDATA[Courtney Trouble's "Nostalgia" Looks Backward To Move Forward]]> As the pioneering queer porn producer behind altsite NoFauxxx, Courtney Trouble does not seem like a girl who's particularly pining for the Golden Age of porn. But her latest release suggests otherwise.

The aptly named "Nostalgia" is both a tribute to and a reworking of some of the most classic porn titles of our time. Through the eyes of Courtney Trouble, we see the Golden Age as it might have been: a queer fantasia where bodies of all types get to experience pleasure, strap-on wielding dykes abound, and Madison Young gets the chance to finally squirt glitter, after discovering the true location of her clitoris (in her throat, natch).

"Nostalgia" has a dreamy, otherworldly feel: the scenes themselves are framed by footage of Trouble and Pepper Sox in bed together, presumably watching this reinvented porn—though as the two find themselves incorporated into April Flores's exploration of queer lust, it becomes less clear who (and where) they are. This is not, shall we say, a porn for those who prefer a clear, defined plot—but it is a delicious dive into a glittery fantasy world (one we were only too happy to stay submerged in).

And we would be remiss if we neglected to mention the feature's stellar cast. Porn Valley imports April Flores and Kimberly Kane are, of course, a joy to watch in their fourway with Trouble and Pepper Sox; Syd Blakovich and Jiz Lee stole our hearts as the doctor-nurse team who helped Madison Young find her "fireworks."

We've been following Courtney Trouble's porn career since the earliest days of NoFauxxx, and we're very pleased to see that her years of experience have resulted in more and better queer porn. "Nostalgia" may be taking a look backward, but its also a glimpse of things to come—and if the future is like this, the future can't come soon enough.

Blowjob, wonderful blowjob.

And a well fucked, happy couple.
