Stoya Goes Kung Fu In New Short Film

We've always thought Stoya was deadly—or at least deadly sexy—so it seems fitting that she's been cast as Kamikaze SheGun 5000, the world's baddest ninja, in the martial arts short "Kingpin of Pain."

Alas, the film will not becoming to a theater near you—unless you happen to be in Philadelphia, where it screens at the Philadelphia 48 Hour Film Festival this Monday, May 11th. (For the curious: we've been told the 48 Hour Film project "is a wild and sleepless weekend in which teams of masochistic film makers write, shoot, edit and score a short movie - in just 48 hours.")

But what, you ask, is the film about? Why, a tournament of warriors fighting over a sword of immortal power—with Stoya, the reigning (evil) champion. Sounds interesting, if you ask us.

"Kingpin of Pain" premieres 9:00 pm Monday May 11, 2009 at The International House; 3701 Chestnut Street Philadelphia, Pa. We may just have to make our way down to Philly to see it.

As if we didn't have enough reasons to be excited for the rapidly approaching ~~summer~~ swimsuit season, we've just learned that Philadelphia boutique Jack & Jill is now stocking topless swimsuits.

Granted, there's no guarantee that this trend will catch on at the Jersey Shore (and beyond)... but we can always hope, right? Oh, and ladies: if you're deterred by Jack & Jill's hefty price tag, we know an easy way to make your own bottoms-only bikini (and we're sure no one will be able to tell the difference.).

Pornsaints Descend On Philadelphia

Milan-based artist Francesco D’Isa and his merry band of Pornsaints artists are getting ready for their debut exhibition in the United States, which means you'll be able to bow down before stars like Jasmine Tame here in real life instead of doing so virtually. Of course, you'll have to make your way to Philadelphia where the show opens on August 2 in order to show your devotion, but don't things like this always involve some sort of pilgrimage? As tempting as it is to imagine our favorite porn personalities living in the same fortified compound, playing records and batting each other with soft pillows, they do often live far from Porn Valley. Digital Playground's Stoya returns to the city of Brotherly Love when she's not shooting that company's esoteric arthouse fare, and we caught up with her via webcam.

Stoya: No. I'm a vegetarian in phases, but that much meat makes me sick.

GP: Tell us about your neighborhood.

Stoya: People come to our door to sell things.

GP: Like what?

Stoya: When we were moving in, we had a broken sewing machine. Somebody came to the door to sell us another one for $20.

GP: So someone watched you as you moved in, determined your sewing machine was busted, then stole one and sold it to you? I don't want to put words in your mouth ...

Stoya: They probably stole it!
