Last night, Conan O'Brien paid a visit to his across the street neighbors: Vivid HQ. Choco tacos were had by all, and hilarity ensued (assuming you find Conan's brand of humor to be hilarious, at least).

At 25 and 34, respectively, Vivid and Amy Fisher are past the age of consent and can do whatever they damn well please. That is why both milves are featured at next weekend's Exxxotica Miami.

Fisher will host a "Hottest MILF" contest on—of course—Mother's Day (May 10) at the third annual porn consumer show. Fisher, who went from "Lolita" to "MILF" without stopping at that awkward porn ingenue phase, will be appearing at the event all weekend.

And Vivid girls Hanna Hilton, Nikki Jayne, Meggan Mallone, and Savanna Samson will celebrate their employer's quarter century of existence at a party at Karu & Y Ultra Lounge on May 9. They will also be supporting the art show/web site 25 Years of Vivid, a tribute by Vivid BFF World of Wonder, featuring photos from Vivid's portfolio, including these of Kayden Kross (a Vivid girl before Adam & Eve snatched her up), Eve Laurence, and jailbait Janine Lindemulder.

So if you are on your way to see your own Mom in Boca, a stop in Miami would probably do you good.

Vivid Goes To South By Southwest

SXSW: a conference for edgy filmmakers, internerds, tons of bands you've never heard of, and... pornstars? Strange as it might seem, Vivid will be hosting a panel (and party) of their very own.

The panel—a part of the SXSW Film Festival—is called "Vivid Entertainment –The Sex-Driven Market," and will, presumably, be as much a commercial for Vivid as a deep discussion of the adult industry:

For 25 years, Vivid Entertainment has not just dominated the adult film industry, it has played a major role in shaping the evolution of home distribution from VHS and DVD to Internet and Blu-ray. CEO and founder Steve Hirsch will discuss how the video distribution landscape has developed over the years and what's in store for the changing marketplace. The discussion will also address the increased mainstreaming of adult film as well as its role as a training ground for Hollywood filmmakers and professionals.

But at least it'll be a commercial featuring Meggan Mallone and Hanna Hilton. Who are we to complain about that?

You know how sometimes you're looking for something, and you stumble upon something completely different—and yet it turns out that this new thing is what you wanted all along? Well, Brynn Tyler does.

Why, lovely Brynn was just looking for a kitty to feed... only to end up feeding on Meggan's kitty instead. Funny how that works, right? Not that we really mind, though. We've never been too big on New Year's resolutions (we think we're perfect just the way we are), but who are we to begrudge others on their path to self-improvement?

XBiz has rounded up a fine collection of adult performers, and asked them to share their resolutions for the coming year. Some of our favorites:

Belladonna: In 2009 I want to be able to completely edit a scene or whole movie, by myself.

Kylie Ireland: I resolve to find more time to do fun stuff! Damn it, I work too fuckin’ hard! However, I plan to make sure this year includes some of the nastiest scenes I have ever done, as a director and a performer.

Sunny Lane: I make a New Year’s resolution to star in a really huge comedy this year hopefully with Will Ryder at X-Play.
