If a gorgeous naked woman holding the skinned corpse of a rabbit or covered with a bunch of dead crustaceans doesn't sound sexy to you, you've never seen the work of Dutch fashion and glamour photographer Remco van den Bosch. Somehow, even our vegetarian, pro-animal rights side found these galleries alluring (Bosch's disclaimer about the source of the materials—they're apparently leftovers that would have been thrown away anyway—certainly helped). There's something about Bosch's work that makes us feel a bit carnal ourselves, and it's not just all those flayed bunnies and random chunks of bloody flesh. But we'll still leave our meat in the freezer where it belongs, thanks.

Browsing through this portfolio by French photographer Catherine James gives us a warm, tender feeling as we look back and fondly recall the early days of Fleshbot when we proclaimed that meat-centric porn was going to be the Next Big Thing—which isn't surprising, since the photos date from 2004 and the height of the whole Atkins craze.
