Truth be told, your friends at Fleshbot know a thing or two about unrequited love. Too often we've sat at home, pining after a beautiful woman, knowing in our hearts that she didn't return our affections. Marisa Tomei is different.

Mr. Skin Honors This Year's Achievements In Cinematic Nudity

Apparently there's some sort of awards show this weekend? The "Oscars" or something? Well, while the mainstream media reports on that, we'll be analyzing the results of something far more important: Mr. Skin's Anatomy Awards.

As with all awards shows, there's certainly some behind the scenes politicking and drama at the Anatomy Awards, and there are definitely some awards we take issue with (Anna Faris in "The House Bunny" for Best Butt?); overall, however, we're glad to see that the real stars—like Marisa Tomei and Anna Paquin—shone through and garnered top honors.

And anyway, we should all keep in mind that, no matter who takes home the trophy, at the end of the day, we're all winners. After all: these are awards for naked celebrities. Nuff said.

A year ago, we were sighing over Marisa Tomei's topless scene in "Before The Devil Knows You're Dead." We weren't the only ones who enjoyed the experience: Marisa appears nude in her latest movie, too.

In "The Wrestler," the lovely Ms. Tomei plays a stripper—so at least, there's, uh, some motivation for her character to get naked. Not that we'd be opposed to gratuitous nude scenes... at least not when Marisa Tomei is in the mix. Check out a few screen snaps below.

Mainstream Sex Watch: Marisa Tomei Wakes The "Dead"

Much like George Costanza, we've long held a torch for Marisa Tomei and just assumed that if only we could meet she'd find our particular "type" sexy. She's a little older and we're a little wiser, but we're still glad that she finally found a movie role that allows her a significant amount of time to walk around naked. Footage from her new-ish film "Before The Devil Knows Your Dead" has been passed around the webs quite a bit lately, but we think just about every frame of her nakedness has been captured in this Egotastic post in both video and still form. Of course, in this instance "Marisa Tomei nude scene" also means "Philip Seymour Hoffman nude scene," but beggars who still own "My Cousin Vinny" on VHS can't be choosers.

Mr. Skin's Top 20 Nude Scenes Of 2007

Faced with a choice at our local arthouse cinema this past weekend, certain members of Team Fleshbot opted to see the Bob Dylan sort-of-biopic "I'm Not There" instead of "Before The Devil Knows You're Dead". But that was before we knew that the new Sidney Lumet potboiler topped Mr. Skin's list of the Top 20 Nude Scenes of the year—apparently, Marisa Tomei's toplessness is enough to remind everyone that she really did deserve to win that Oscar all those years ago. Fortunately, we did manage to catch several of the other selections that made it onto the list, including Natalie Portman's asstastic appearance in "Hotel Chevalier" and Sienna Miller's almost continuously naked star turn in "Factory Girl". In the meantime, you can probably guess what we'll be lining up to see this weekend—after all, if it took Marisa all this time to take off her top without using to a body double, who knows when we're going to have a chance to see another award-winning performance of hers like this again?
