We've never been ones to call something obscene (unless we're talking about the price of coffee at Starbucks). Being called obscene, on the other hand—well, that's something we're old hand at.

So it was with great interest that we checked out the trailer for "Sex Art," a movie that examines the nebulous grey area of sex-infused art and arty sex, seeking out where, exactly, "obscenity" exists. With commentary from Betty Dodson, Eric Kroll, Eon McKai, Carol Leigh, and Julie Atlas Muz, the documentary offers a fascinating discussion of one of the most discussed, but never satisfactorily answered, questions of our time: what, exactly, is obscenity?

Deeper Inside Carlos Batts (And April Flores Too)

We're thankful for all the serious fap time we've spent with the fine work of artist and filmmaker Carlos Batts, whose "Kiss Attack" and "Voluptuous Life" left a lasting impression on our porn-addled brains (and some lasting stains on our porn-saturated couches, but that's another story). So we really enjoyed this in-depth video interview with Batts on Fine Art TV, featuring commentary by fetish photographer Eric Kroll and Batts' muse and helpmeet (and perennial Fleshbot Crush Object) April Flores, along with some descriptions of cool props he's made for his films. At least now we have a little something extra to keep our brains and other squishy bits occupied until Batts' next pornic masterpiece hits the streets; hopefully we'll get to enjoy more of his luscious muse Flores when that happens too.
