Urban X Awards: Porn Awards Go Urban

With the F.A.M.E. Awards all wrapped up, it's now time to move on to, well, yet another porn awards show. Only this isn't just any other porn awards show: it's the Urban X Awards.

Now in their second year, the Urban X Awards (not to be confused with the Urban Spice Awards) showcase outstanding talent from black, Latin, Asian, and interracial productions—what's more, they're currently soliciting nominations.

We have a few Crush Objects we'd like to see win some awards (::cough::Sinnamon Love and Tyler Knight::cough::), but don't let our biased opinion sway your vote. Well, except in the case of the award for "Biggest Ass"—we're recommending that all our readers abstain from voting in that one. There are some things that shouldn't be decided by popular opinion (really, if they want to hand out an award for that, they should just get out a measuring tape and let that be the judge).

Businesswoman and badass Amile Waters turns 24 this weekend. Did you doubt that she could survive and thrive in such an environment? No you didn't. But MGD helps, too.

Your Day In "Black Sweeties"

Granted, there are those who'd point out that there would never be a porn title called "White Sweeties," and that specifying a performer as a "sweety" might imply that others of that race, gender, nationality, or creed aren't sweeties. But I read this title as a shortening of "Sweeties Who Happen to Be Black," much like I assume "Big-Titted Teens" isn't a slam on my girlfriend, who happens to be a small-chested Samoan 19-year-old, but a sweety nonetheless.

So why are these women sweeties? Could it be that Aliana Love wears glasses? I know from personal experience that I am only kind to people because I have poor eyesight, in hopes that they won't hide my lunch. Maybe that is why Aliana is a Black Sweety.

What about Amile Waters? While she might not have been the sweetest person at this event, Waters does lick her watch. I didn't get it, but who am I, Sweety Pope?

Finally there was Misty Stone who, in addition to saying all the "shit!"s and "fuck!"s you'd expect in a porn movie, liberally peppered her pillowtalk with "Oh My Goodness!" I thought that was sweet.

CNN takes a long, hard look at hip hop's video vixens and discusses whether all that bikini-clad booty shaking perpetuates negative stereotypes and sends the wrong message to young Black women. Frankly, we don't see what the problem is—we have absolutely no problem watching any woman shake her parts in our face or pouring milk all over her girlfriend in a bathtub and still being able to respect her afterwards. NicheFlixxx Helps Everyone Get Their Freak On

If you've spent any time at all on porn video sharing sites like RedTube or Megarotic — or even if you just make our Flesh Flicks feature part of your daily routine (you know, like flossing) — you've probably noticed at some point that things tend to be pretty ... well, vanilla, both in terms of activity and average skin tone. So imagine how excited we were to find NicheFlixxx, a newish venture that evidently promises a selection of free hardcore clips for out-of-the-mainstream tastes: after all, the word "niche" is right there in the title!

While the site does include a healthy dose of material tagged with words like "ebony", "Latina", and "tranny" (and various combinations thereof) along with plenty of ghetto booty and hood banging, most of the videos showcase things like blowjobs, gangbangs, facials, and creampies — i.e., the kind of stuff you find on pretty much every other porn video sharing site out there. Still, it's nice to see a collection like this that tries to stir things up with a little more flavor. And given how suddenly some of our favorite fapping resources can disappear these days, can you ever have too many sites like this bookmarked anyway?
