Last night was the season finale for the first chapter of "Secret Diary Of A Call Girl", and while we don't know when (or if) the second season will begin we hope Billie Piper keeps finding work in the meantime. Sure, real call girls probably roll their eyes every time "Belle" explains the "secrets" of high-class prostitution, but we find it goofily charming. Besides, it's not like we could ever afford to pay $1,000 for a single night of bliss, so this will have to do.

Have you been watching Showtime's broadcasts of "Secret Diary of A Call Girl"? We know it's only been on for two weeks, but the show seems to be picking up steam (and getting more steamy) as it moves along. Ok, it's probably not a very realistic look at the life of a call girl—what with all the amazing apartments and handsome johns—and Billie Piper's constant fourth-wall breaking narration can be a little off-putting, but we've found ourselves enjoying it quite a bit. We got a sneak peek at tonight's episode and not only do you get a close-up look at "the girlfriend experience" you also get your first (brief) look at Billie's bare breasts. See what we mean? It's better already!

"Secret Diary Of A Call Girl" Is No Longer A Secret Here

Remember, last year when Billie Piper scandalized the UK with her turn in "Secret Diary Of A Call Girl," that TV series based on the blog and book by Belle du Jour? Well, scandals make for awesome ratings (duh) so Showtime went ahead and bought the rights to broadcast the whole thing here in the U.S.. Hype aside, they do deserve credit for not simply stealing the idea and watering it down for the American audience's more tender sensibilities; they'll be showing the original unedited episodes just as they aired on the other side of the pond. It debuts on the "telly" (that's what they call it over there! Really!) on Monday night, but you can watch the full first two episodes online right now ... or at least whet your appetite with this sample clip. As you'll see either way, being a call girl is a dirty job—and we would sure like to have Billie do it to us.

Britons are all a-flutter lately over new TV series "The Secret Diary of a Call Girl," which has become a somewhat surprising hit if you're the kind of person who is surprised that sex is popular. The local papers are overflowing with talk about the show—based on the book that was based on the anonymous blog, Belle de Jour—with stories that seem to vacillate between concerns that the sophisticated style of high-end hookers will glamourize prostitution and lunatic ravings about how freakin' hot Billie Piper is. Even the star herself says she felt, "slightly dirty and uncomfortable" (as if that's a bad thing) when leaving the set each day, but as you can see in this clip from one her threeway sex romps, she comes out clean on the other side.
