Take, for example, her latest movie release, "Double Krossed." Releasing this week, the film is a murder mystery revolving around the story of sexy twins (our favorite kind!). Kayden flexes her thespian muscles by playing both roles—the actress murdered by a psycho and the grief stricken sibling in search of justice who shared the zygote. Like a pornographic Nancy Drew, our curvy maneater pokes around her sister's past, uncovering cliché revelations that fall tragically short of being, say, David Lynch-level intriguing, but which otherwise hit the mark by serving to tie Kayden's steamy sex scenes together convincingly enough—a feat to which some blue screen directors still (sadly) aspire.

In addition to our favorite blond equestrian, "Double Krossed" also stars Holly Wellin, Marie McCray, Eden Adams, Stephanie Cane, and Brooke Scott. Holly turns in an uninhibited anal scene with a wicked smile, Brooke sucks mean cock, and Stephanie looks great modeling a throbbing love stick in her tiny jay-jay. But in the end it's really Kayden we came to see, in back to back performances with Eric Everhard.

Keep 'em cumming, Kayden baby. We can't turn our eyes away.

Throughout the three hours of the feature, you see, Hillary Scott is adored and devoted (sexually, even!). In at the spa, in a dungeon, in a theater, with girls, with boys, with both, in her pussy, in her ass, and sometimes both at once—it's all about Hillary (even in the middle of an orgy, the girl still manages to steal all the focus). And when it's not about Hillary fucking, it's about Hillary making a movie: in between the sex scenes, we're treated to scenes of Hillary and her crew making the movie. You see, Hillary's not just an icon because she knows how to fuck; she's an icon because she knows how to make fuck films.

There is also a music video about halfway through the feature, we're not quite sure what it has to do with Hillary Scott, iconography, or fucking, so you should probably feel free to skip over it in search of sexier fare.

Should you find yourself unsatisfied by the three hour feature alone, there are three (three!) extra discs included in the package for extra titillation. What, pray tell, is the content of these discs? Special features contains standard fare (behind the scenes footage, a music video, trailers, and photos), bonus discs one and two are loaded up with scenes from other movies Hillary has been in. See, Hillary isn't just an icon because she made a three hour epic porn: she's an icon because she's been in many other fuck films, too!

Really, the only question that one need ask is this: "Do I like Hillary Scott?" Because if the answer is yes, this DVD is a must have. And if it's not, well—we're sure they'll come out with "Sasha Grey: Icon" sooner or later.

The latest contender to throw their OP board shorts into the ring is Sin City Entertainment: not only does their new logo remind us of the sort of typography we used to see on muscle car posters in Spencer Gifts, but they've even gone ahead and recycled the title of both Nick Zedd's seminal 1988 art porn short and a still-current all-girl series by DVSX for their new feature! And director Ariella takes this regression one step further by blending a mixture of established performers with relative newcomers in "Whorgasm", which stars Chennin Blanc, Ginger Blaze, Jennifer Dark, Mina Lee, Carolyn Reese, and Holly Wellin. (OK., we guess dropping that E does make it a completely different title. Still.)

Alas, the only other thing really interesting about "Whoregasm" aside from its rad box cover is that awesome title—it's certainly not that hoary pre-"Boogie Nights"-era plotline involving high-priced call girls and the affluent and powerful men who pay for them. And the often tepid performances don't help matters much either. Still, we at least found the preview pics diverting enough to share with you here and see if the power of free porn still counts for anything. Let us know how they work out for you.

Shot by Jim Powers, "Fuck Truck" at the very least has some larger-than-a-car conveyance in each scene, and I guess you could say that the movie, filmed in part as a behind the scenes look at a recent tour of the punk band The Bad Samaritans, is a kind of travelogue.

And without "Fuck Truck," the world probably wouldn't have been allowed to see cutting room floor footage of the impaired Holly Wellin cavorting in the desert. You'd think she went to Wellesley College!

And it's not that Brooke Scott, Cassidy Blue, Desire Moore, and Holly Wellin aren't exactly the type of people I'd want along on a road trip, I just think that having a truck in each scene is a weak concept for a porn movie. Unless the talent is having sex with the truck.

One of my favorite directors is Jim Powers, whose punk rock and pop culture sensibilities always find a way into any movie he directs.

But he always stays removed enough so that his earnestness never backfires on him. In other words, he never succumbs to the notion that he's making art when he's in the entertainment business.

That is not to say that the non-porn elements of his movies aren't compelling; in fact, they are usually the most watchable non-porn scenes in porn. They are just not redolent of the director's need to justify his career in Filth.

Sometimes the pendulum swings so far back into the "entertainment" category that he leaves the camera on during painful backstage episodes. His Porn's Most Outrageous Outtakes series captures many of these, but porn is such a playground of morbidity in general that there's an undercurrent of it in every movie he does. If fans of mainstream porn call what he does exploitive, he might argue that all porn is exploitive.

So what does somebody like Powers do when he makes a movie around a subject — punk rock — that he genuinely cares about? Little Runaway 2 is definitely a dirtier, sexier movie — the sex scenes, anyway — than any of the altporn Powers compares it to in his press releases, although companies criticizing "Alt" at this point (Adam & Eve's Independent Adult Cinema has been doing it recently) is like beating a dead horse.

A series of scenes revolving around last year's Punkfest 2007, Little Runaway 2 features people with the hair and the wardrobe and tattoos that seem more integral to their personalities than the poseurware Powers et al have an issue with.

Daisy Tanks, Scarlett Pain, and Paris Gables really walk the walk and fuck the fuck, rutting in dirty warehouses, buses, and on questionable mattresses. The movie also features performances by several angrily aging punk bands, including Powers' own, Killroy.

I could have done without these performances, but real fans of SoCal punk, especially those who wouldn't normally buy porn movies, might well love this as a pretty reliable document. In the behind the scenes featurette Powers captures drunkenness and belligerence, as per usual, and Rob Rotten's scenes with Daisy Tanks and Scarlett Pain made me think of alleys and back rooms of every dive-y, dangerous club I've ever found my feet sticking to the floor of. And that's a good feeling.

But the "Clockwork Orange" riff at the beginning of the movie falls flat; I'm sure there was a reason to use those Kubrickian sets and costumes beyond their availability from The Violation of Chelsie Rae, but availability of the sets seemed the primary reason.

(And the droogs in the previous movie were women, which was a plus.)

In the end, Powers is filming his friends, with some sex representative of their lifestyle thrown in. In that I would want to do similar things to Scarlett Pain as Rob Rotten does, Little Runaway 2 reaches into my Gordon Lightfoot/Ronnie James Dio world and makes me regret tossing out that mattress I got scabies on.
