Of all porn's many delightful forms, BDSM is the most regimented and the place where viewers are most likely to see something real. That is not to say that there aren't disagreements. And when you have dominatrices disagreeing, watch out.

The petite, no-nonsense Aiden Starr leads Berlin through a progression of well-choreographed and stylized humiliations, just daring you not to take the proceedings seriously. Instead, the conclusion to director John Stagliano's award-winning series opens with Antonio (played by legendary cocksman Rocco Siffredi) traveling to Berlin (that's in Germany) to discover more about the kinky world of the sinister Safado (Vidal). Siffredi and Vidal battle it out, mano a mano, through a series of complicated plot twists, mercurial character-revealing flashbacks, off-the-hook orgies, and a metric ton of hardcore sex featuring porn goddesses Belladonna, Melissa Lauren, and The Porn Star Formerly Known As Katsumi, exponentially pushing each other's boundaries throughout.

In the end, however, only one can possess The Porn Star Formerly Known As Katsumi. Will it be Siffredi, who fucks his way through four dominant porn queens to get to her? Or will it be Vidal, who practically fucks a hole through Melissa Lauren with his Volkswagen-sized penis? Our esteem'd colleagues at sexblo.gs attended the 23rd Computer Chaos Congress in Berlin last week and took notes on film studies scholar and former porn cinema cashier Tina Lorenz' talk on the history of porn and technology, and while some of the facts she presented are open to debate (for example, saying that 1970's "Mona, the Virgin Nymph" was the "first modern porn" discounts films like "I Am Curious (Yellow)" and the work of Russ Meyer, Ed Wood, and others in the 1960s), it's still an interesting survey of some of the historical antecedents of the modern day smut scene. Finally, a convenient chronology that traces the development of the medium from William Henry Fox Talbot to "Dirt Pipe Milkshakes"! Maybe our grad school student loans are worth paying off after all.
