Oh, to be in Austria!

XIPAX.com is an Austria-based website for creatives in the ad industry—a place to show off their stuff, and get feedback from others. In America, the kick-off for this site would be just like any other promotion (boring). Not so much, in Austria. Riffing on the fact that "Show me yours and I'll show you mine" sounds, um, kinda dirty, the XIPAX team launched their site with a guerrilla promotion at the annual gala hosted by Creativ Club Austria. And by guerrilla, we mean naked. XIPAX team members got up on stage and took all their clothes off—and everyone thought it was awesome!

God, to be European.

<![CDATA[Six Inch Snails]]>

If you want to know what pornstar and fetish model-turned-directrix Renee Pornero and her Vienna-based Six Inch Snails collective are all about, look no farther than the mission statement on their website: " We are young, creative and full of beans. We don't go with the flow. We are seeking for challenges. We dedicate ourselves to a new age of pornography." Unfortunately, that's about all we know about them, since there's precious little else by way of more information on their website and we can't understand the rest of the material they've posted so far since we don't speak Austrian. Fortunately, there's also a bunch of deliciously pervtastic short film clips and stills and info from Renee's directorial debut "Viennese", which shows there's a lot more going on in the capital of Austria besides fine pastry and old world charm. And besides, anyone else who's dedicating themselves to a new age of pornography deserves our full respect. No matter what language they happen to be speaking.

<![CDATA[Latex Fashions by Simon O]]>

If you believe that nothing you wear can be too tight or too shiny, you should probably start directing a good portion of your wardrobe budget to latex maker Simon O. This Austrian fetishwear company has a knack for creating outfits with, um ... "interesting" design, and their models seem so comfortable in them that they make wearing constricting, unbreathable fabrics look downright relaxing. If you just like window shopping, there's plenty of photos to sample, but the online store can also have your custom made clothes shipped right to your home. Don't concern yourself with price either, because once you put this stuff on you won't have any place to put your wallet anyway.

<![CDATA[Wet Spots]]>

· Your tax dollars at work: US postal inspector provides a "revoltingly detailed criminal complaint" against the subject of an obscenity case—thus ensuring that if the average American weren't already intimately familiar with things like fisting and scat play, they sure are now. (thesmokinggun.com)

· Austrian ski instructors endure the hardest nipples of their lives for a hot nude calendar shoot. How come the resorts we go to are never this fun? (ananova.com + skilehrerinnen.at)

· Ars Technica has more on the debate we mentioned last week over iTunes and their policies (or lack there of) regarding explicit podcasts. You know our stance ... the world needs dirty talk! (arstechnica.com, via blog.wired.com)

· If you're using Google Adsense to earn some extra cash with your blog, better watch what you post about because they're watching you. (Actually, we're just excited that someone mentioned our name!) (coolz0r.com, via googlewatch.eweek.com)

· Since we were visiting Coolz0r anyway, we had to link to this post about ads for a Durex sex survey. It looks a lot like the answer sheet from our SAT, which explains why we had to go to a state school. (coolz0r.com)

· Second-best headline of the day: "Search of man's pants rejected." Apparently, consenting to a police search does not automatically mean they can check your ballsack. Make a note of that. (charlotte.com)

· Finally, this collection of funny Japanese commercials is mostly harmless, but one clip in particular got our attention. Slurping never sounded so good. (YouTube + more videos at hight3ch.com)

<![CDATA[Art by Deborah Sengl]]>

Speaking of grandmotherly persuits, we don't ordinarily associate the art of crochet with hardcore blowjob action—but that's exactly what you'll find in Austrian artist Deborah Sengl's online portfolio of framed fabric works, along with cozy images of butt plugs, threeways, and hot girl-on-girl sex. It's almost enough to make us want to dash out to the local craft store to pick up a few skeins of yarn so we can whip up something for Grandma to hang up in her parlor to show her that maybe we really do have some interests in common after all. Almost.
