In Atlanta this coming weekend, sixteen photographers will get to learn the, uh, ropes of fetish and fine art photography by trying their hand at shooting eight different models in fantastic and interesting locations with master photographers hanging over their shoulders. The wannabe photographers will get tips on how to talk to models (= it's better to say "stretch up" than "suck in your gut") how to come up with photo concepts (= have weird dreams!) and how to deal with lighting (= use more of it than you think you need). And there will be plenty of shooting experiences too, including a field trip to the First Annual Buckle Magazine Buckle Ball, which the workshop administrators warn has a strict dress code of formal wear and fetish attire. Now that's the kind of schooling we can get behind.
