This raveporn from European (of course) outfit Miss Lucifer is an ecstatic film. By this I mean you should take some Ecstasy and watch it over the shoulder of whatever similarly-affected, sweaty, PVC-clad UCLA student you're scratching up and down against like a piece of fleshy Velcro. I also mean that it is a lot of fun.

I mean, "Requiem for a Dream" made vag-to-vag dildo action seem sordid. But this is glorious.

Edited to within an inch of its life and featuring a soundtrack that must be played loud, "Hell Is Where the Party Is" is indeed a party movie. You can imagine it being screened on a series of zeppelins shortly before the end of the world, or in the background of some Adrian Lyne or Joe Ezsterhas movie, just as the protagonist is about to get his sensibilities up ended by a sexually dangerous woman who will ultimately leave him an empty shell of himself. It is like the Human League video that never was, as directed by Frankie Goes to Hollywood. It's like the alternate up ending to "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls."

A sophisticated and often playful porn movie which sets aside the common complaint that Europorn performers are disaffected and laden with ennui, "Hell Is Where the Party Is" is jerkoff material that seems to require a dress code, though the Vatican might look askance at its theology (even though it's got Silvia Saint).

"Be My First" Forces Perspectives (But Not Penises)

The arresting cover of this compilation of Eurolesbo fare from 2005 and 2006 made me think that expatriate R. Crumb must have finally thought he was in the right place at the right time, so present are those boots, thighs, and other parts on his adopted continent. But does this movie make good on its boxcover's promise of uninhibited, in your face vaginalia?

Alas, as is often the case with the stills shot for boxcovers, no such configuration of Bambi and Eve Angel occurs in the movie. I should have known that someone named "Bambi" wouldn't be so frank.

Furthermore, our heroine is far more svelte in her scene than she is in her still photo. Good for her, bad for me.

This is one of several pairings in "Be My First." Each is slickly shot with attention paid to capturing each smacking kiss and affected moan. The women are striking and perhaps can be forgiven for fibbing when they said they'd never done girls before.

But the boxcover flimflam can never be forgiven. I'd write my Member of Congress, but I don't think there's an extradition law about misrepresenting vag size.

Photoplay: Private's "Ibiza Sex Party 2"

We are besaddened that Eurohottie powerhouse Private never features zaftig and blowsy dirndl-ripping barmaids in their glossy productions, but we were nevertheless delighted with director Toni Ribas' "Ibiza Sex Party 2", featuring the leonine likes of Angel Dark and Cayenne (pictured).

Normally we don't like the "tease" section of porn scenes, in which the talent strips and fondles herself for a few minutes before the dudes show up, but in this case the Teases are glorious, each accompanied by a club soundtrack with images slowed down, sped up, and lovingly lit, but none so self-conscious and arty that the movie forgets about the most important parts.

The music abruptly stops after the Teases and then the real work begins. These scenes are just fine, too, but then my prejudice kicks in: these ladies are so perfect that it is hard to find personality in their sex scenes; it is when they are being supermodels with a soundtrack that they are at their most potent.

Only Cayenne smiles. While it is the more famous Angel Dark who is the most marketable of these pornstresses, it is Cayenne who appears most accessible. And her moans in this scene appear genuine; The Sea is punishing to The Ladyparts™.
