We caught up with her at home while she put the finishing touches on her Christmas decorations.

"Ssippi and I eat our breakfast on this little area and our projects usually take up the rest of the table," Starr said of her co-artist and boyfriend, Ssippi, whose Christmas present (we are obliged not to reveal it because Ssippi is web-savvy) arrived that day.

Besides being a fascinating person in her own right, Starr's clothespin Santas and reindeer are pretty sexy themselves, and we resisted primal urges to steal all of them and squeeze her boobs. After all, it's Christmas.

Starr and Ssippi (we just like writing "Ssippi"- glad he doesn't come from Connecticut) are traveling for the holidays (afterward Starr will be signing for Evil Angel at the AVN Expo), but you can find her on Twitter in the meantime.

<![CDATA[Crashing "The Stagg Party"]]> When we discovered Ellen Stagg a year ago, she was an up and coming photographer who'd recently started posting erotic photos of her friends on a Blogspot blog. Of course, she also happened to be an extremely talented photographer, with friends like Justine Joli, Adrianna Sage, and Masuimi Max—so it's not that surprising that, less than a year later, she's skyrocketed to success with a sleek new web site and an IFC web series. "The Stagg Party" takes a behind the scenes look at Ellen's shoots with models (and Fleshbot Crush Objects) Joanna Angel, Justine Joli, Mandy Morbid, Madison Young, and many, many more. We recently sat down with Ellen to ask her a little about photography, adult models, and what Justine Joli is really like. Our interview, and a preview clip of "The Stagg Party," after the jump.

. . .

You're a successful commercial photographer. What made you decide to start working as an erotic photographer as well?
I've always been interested in it. I’ve been doing photography since I was sixteen years old. I originally saw myself as being an art photographer, but then when I got [to New York], I started taking classes and started realizing what the real world was all about. I had one agent, and she seemed to want me to do more commercial stuff—celebrity-based, advertising-based, lifestyle-based—so it was always about taking off in that direction and then coming back to the erotic stuff.

It wasn’t until I met Justine (Joli) about two years ago that I really got in to shooting more and more erotic stuff, because I always had a problem finding the right kind of models.

That was my next question – you started off with some really amazing models(Justine Joli, Adrianna Sage, Masuimi Max). How did you find them? Did you meet Justine and just go from there?
I have a good friend of mine, Clayton Cubitt aka Siege, and he called me a few years ago saying, “I have this porn girl in town, she’s a friend of a friend and she needs pictures but I’m busy, can you shoot her?” And he sent me some pictures of her, and I said, “Sure! I don’t know what I’m going to do with her, cool, but we’ll figure it out.” I had one day to prepare. At the time, I usually liked to have more concepts with my fashion photography, so I was trying to figure out what I could do really quickly and still make great images out of it.

Justine came over and I got a make up artist and the next thing I knew I was just like, “This is great, I can’t believe I’ve found a model who is totally interested in pushing my work and taking it to the places I’ve always wanted to go but couldn’t find the right person to do it with.”

I’ve always had friends of mine who were like, “Yeah, I’m okay with you taking naked pictures of me, but could you cut off my face?” or “Yeah, sure, I’m okay with you taking naked pictures of me,” and then two weeks later being like, “My boyfriend found out about this and he doesn’t want them to be out there.” Which didn't really help me – I spent all this time taking these pictures for no reason. So all of the sudden there’s this girl who’s like, “I want to do this, I want to do this, I want to try this” and I’m like, “Awesome, I want to do all these things too,” and she’s like, “Yeah, I’ll totally sign a model release, that’s no problem I just need some copies for my site.” Which was amazing! It ended up being a really great union of the two of us. And then I asked Justine’s manager and she was like, “Yeah, we have tons of friends in LA that always need pictures and your style would be great for them.”

Was it difficult to transition into doing erotic work?
No, because I’ve always been interested in it. Even when I was in high school I would shoot quasi-erotic stuff for being under 18—it was sexy self portraits or pictures of my friends, and then I showed them to my photography teacher, and she was like, “These are really good. You can’t show them to the rest of the school.” I’ve always been interested in it, but it was just finding the right types of models that would help me express what I really wanted to express out of it and no inhibitions that really helped me take off with it.

So when did you decide to start Stagg Street?
I had so many guy friends that I would show [the photos] to, and they would say, “Oh my god, I wish I could see some of this stuff online.” At first I thought maybe I could do a paid site like the girls do, because I was very nervous about my commercial clients finding the work and being deterred from working with me because I shoot porn stars. I was thinking that with a paid site, at least you wouldn’t be able to see the content so freely, so I could separate [my commercial and erotic work]. But a friend asked how I was going to have a paid site with no fan base. He said I should start a blog and put up a picture a day and start building a fan base.

Since you started Stagg Street, you've gotten a lot of attention for your erotic work. Has that caused any problems with your mainstream clients?
I have had a couple. One client that I shoot a lot of look books for, I found out through the grapevine that she didn’t want to work with me anymore because I was getting too well known for doing porn. I was really, really disappointed by this person because I’ve photographed her naked before and she’s been photographed by other photographers naked before, so I thought she was being very double standard about it. But besides that I’ve had more clients from this work than less. I think it’s opened the doors for a lot of stuff. I made friends with Mishka, this streetwear company in Brooklyn, and I just shot a couple of their look books and we’re actually coming out with a calendar for 2009 that I’m really, really excited about.

It’s also put me in touch with people like Joe [Swanberg], who I think found me through your article on Fleshbot and then he contacted me and asked me to be in one of his films, and then we talked about doing other projects together and then that connected me to IFC.

Tell me about IFC.
About November of last year I met Joe, and then had a small part in his feature film, and we went out to lunch and I told him that because of the kind of photos that I do, so many people were asking me if I made out with my models—everyone had this fantasy of me taking pictures of these naked women and then rolling around with them. And I kept telling them, “No, it’s really professional, I talk to them about every day stuff, and when I’m done I leave and go work on the pictures.” So I told Joe about that and I was like, “It’s really funny, because the pictures are so sexy and sensual, but the girls and I will be talking about funny stuff like our pets and our boyfriends and things of that sort. It really can be kind of funny and comical.” I wanted someone to document it so that people could see that we’re just normal girls hanging out and working and being cool together. He suggested that I get together with one of my models and we do a little documentary of one shoot. So we did it with Justine, which I posted on my blog around April, and he sent that to IFC because IFC was asking him about other webisode series after he did “Young American Bodies.” And IFC was really interested, and I was beyond ecstatic.

So you're giving your fans a behind the scenes look at what happens at an Ellen Stagg shoot?
I’m sure there are a lot of fantasies about what happens, but I want to show people how funny and down to earth and just normal it is. Normal in a good way—and that’s what ended up happening with the documentary series.

I think it's really great that you're doing this. People have all these weird ideas about what goes on at adult shoots. Either they think it's completely abusive, or they assume it's this hypersexual environment where everyone's having an orgy after the photos are shot.
It’s work. And it’s my artwork, but it’s still work. I’ll hang out with the girls later and go to dinner, but we’re not having an orgy. I consider Justine to be a really good girlfriend of mine, and I tell her about everything – like, nonphoto-related things – but the fact that I can have such an amazing girlfriend that can also be my muse and understand my art and I can do different things with her [is awesome].

Do you have any favorite models? It certainly sounds like Justine is at the top of your list.
Justine is most definitely at the top, otherwise I loved working with Ariel cause she’s also New York-based. I call her my pocket model, because she’s like five feet tall – she’s so petite! She reminds me of a high fashion model, so cute and girlish about it at the same time. I also have been working a lot with Mandy Morbid. I’m shooting her and Justine together next week. I’m totally loving Mandy because of that whole Tank Girl thing which I was so into in high school. Who else? I love working with Shay Laren. I’ve only shot her once, but she was just an amazing model and really had a good understanding of her own body and knew how to move around.

So what makes somebody a good model?
Somebody who’s open minded but also – well, modeling isn’t just about being pretty, it’s about understanding that if your light source is coming from your left side you should make sure that it’s pointing at your face too. I like directing models to a point, but I also like to see what they can bring to me. Everybody’s bodies are so different, and I like to see how their bodies move in front of wherever I’m shooting them. I love every girl that has shot for my blog and I’m so privileged to have them shooting for me, but the ones that are a little more stiff it just makes it more difficult to get something out of them, and it just takes a little more time than when they’re really comfortable and understanding of their own bodies.

<![CDATA[SexiestParty Judges The Election Via Erections]]> It seems like every time an election rolls around someone ponders the sexiness of Democrats versus Republicans, sometimes with pretty entertaining (or more often, pretty tired) results. Now Red State and Blue State citizens alike can battle out their own version of "Hot or Not?" on the newly launched SexiestParty.com, where anyone who's not already burnt out on faux Palin porn can participate by uploading their own photos or just casting a vote for party hotness. Or notness. Each vote refreshes the page and you won't find out the party affiliation of the babe you're ogling until you cast your vote, which does give a gloss of scientific impartiality to the proceedings. Still, we suppose it will all come down to partisanship instead of actual, objective boinkability in the long run. Maybe each party can add a few hardcore TGP affiliate links to their websites to help shore up the economy in the meantime?

<![CDATA[Sabrina Fox Shares Herself Freely]]> Sabrina Fox has all the ingredients we need for a hot serving of Crush Object deliciousness; brains, gorgeousness, and an enthusiasm in all of her thigh-tingling scenes that makes our heads spin (and our other bits warm and tingly). So when we found out she was visiting Fleshbot West for a bit o' bondage and and more than a bit of intense fucking at Kink.com we were delighted to track her down for an exclusive interview ... not to mention a full hardcore gallery of some of her finest Kink.com moments, both of which you'll find after the jump. Who says sharing isn't caring?

. . .

Fleshbot: So what's a nice girl like you doing in a place like Kink?
Sabrina Fox: I definitely believe in being naughty and nice simultaneously. Having been in the BDSM community for quite some time, there's nothing better than taking my love of this lifestyle and sharing that part of myself with the world. I am an adrenaline junkie and Kink.com provides that fix for me. I love how intense and real the shoots are, and I have had the privilege of making wonderful friends in this exciting company.

FB: What do you love most about being a porn performer?
SF: Heh, it's a way of giving the middle finger to my evangelical self-righteous mother...Hi, Mom! It's rather funny, but I thank my mother for getting me into porn, seriously! She, being one of Jehovah's Witnesses, accused me of doing porn when I was glamour modeling. So, I decided that while I'm being accused of it I may as well have to the fun of actually doing it. Naturally, there is a certain amount of shock factor that goes along with telling a complete stranger that I am a porn model when they ask me what I do.... I really delight in those moments of discomfort and the expression that goes along with it. I also enjoy being sexually free and open, not being afraid of it like so many in our society are.

FB: What makes a scene really hot for you?
SF: It really varies, as vague as that may be. Some days I prefer no lipstick and some days I want bright red... there's no rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes I want to be manhandled and pushed around, and sometimes I want to be romanced and seduced. Regardless of what transpires, having chemistry with a partner in a scene and feeling comfortable to be myself is always a turn-on during a shoot. If I'm comfortable with a person then I'm having fun and that portrays well on video. It really excites meet when I'm pushed to my limits..it gives me a sense of accomplishment and an appreciation of my partner for being able to read me well enough to give me such and experience.

FB: Is there any kind of porn or a sex act that turns you off?
SF: There's not a lot in porn that would turn me off per se. I'm not into pissing but the humiliation of such a scene can still be hot for me; it depends on how the tools are used. However, a lack of confidence can be a turn off... someone who doesn't know how to handle a particular piece of equipment... bad kissing is definitely a turn off...

FB: What's the difference between sex you have for work and sex you have for yourself?
SF: I think for a lot of porn performers that line can become easily blurred, and there are times myself where I wonder if I know the difference anymore. I love fetish and BDSM porn because it is something I practice in my personal life, and I don't have to fake it or act on camera, it comes natural. For me, it's real. Every shoot I do for Kink.com is real, there's no pretense, and it's something I'm very passionate about. I suppose the main difference is that after a scene in real life, I'm cuddling with my partner... I'm affectionate and a snuggle bunny and after care is very important to me. In a professional atmosphere that's not always available.

FB: What false, lame or insulting perceptions do people have about your job that you hate?
SF: I have sex with random people for money, I'm a prostitute and therefore must be a drug-addicted low life that has no self esteem and who is ruining my life in addition to being a whore of Babylon....I'm selling my soul to Satan and will go straight to hell, do not pass go, do not collect $200. That also must mean that I have severe psychological and emotional issues and what is more, I cannot be trusted. I have to lie, cheat, and steal because modeling alone cannot possibly support my horrible crack addiction. ;)

FB: Any fantasies you'd like to try out on camera that you haven't done yet?
SF: I have yet to do a full out kidnapping/abduction scene. It's always been a fantasy of mine, to be kidnapped and taken off to some place nobody knows of and be sexually used.... all day, all night, and then some more. The idea of a gangbang really turns me on too, though I'm not sure if I could handle it in reality.

FB: Speaking for all of Fleshbot, will you marry me? We promise we'll try to share you with the rest of the world...
SF: Sharing is caring, I refuse to have a monogamous relationship. So, in light of that, yes! How 'bout tomorrow?

FB: What should we look forward to from you next?
SF: I have recently completed The Training of O... day one is up, day two soon to come. I have to say that this shoot for me was very intense as I went into it for personal reasons and to learn a little more about who Sabrina Fox is... and I was not disappointed.

I'm off to Germany very soon to perform and rig with Lew Rubens for an erotic event in conjunction with Oktoberfest. Other than that I am traveling quite a bit and attending as many community events as possible...it's where I got my start and giving back by teaching demos and performances is very fulfilling for me. In fact, I just got back from SpankFestival 2 in Wisconsin where I worked and performed with Graydancer, and the feedback and response has been overwhelming. Look for me at Black Rose, Dark Odyssey, and many more.

<![CDATA[Tera Doesn't Seem To Love Jenna]]> We really don't like to gossip or anything, but are we the only ones who sense a wee bit of bad blood between porn queens Tera Patrick and Jenna Jameson in Tera's new interview in BlackBook? <![CDATA[All About Aprella, Renaissance Woman]]> We've had a crush on the lovely Aprella for several years now. But what with her busy schedule of modeling, performing, appearing in video games, and speaking out for Amnesty International, and our busy schedule of, uh, watching porn, it's been a little hard to schedule a sitdown with her. Finally, though, after years of lusting after this multitalented powerhouse, we were able to grab her attention and get her to answer some questions. Our interview—as well as a gallery of photos so you can better understand exactly why we've been crushing on her all this time—after the jump.

* * * * *

Fleshbot: Back in 2005 we named you one of our Top Ten Hotties of the year. Has your life changed much in the years since we honored you—and if so, what's changed?
Aprella: Yes you did, and I'd like to take the time here to say "Thank You!"

My life is always changing and evolving. In the past three years I've worked all over the world from doing runway shows in France and screaming backup vocals in Italy to doing Fashion Week in LA and swinging high on aerial swing in my home town NYC. I like to keep my career and life moving. In 2007 I worked at least one week of every month out of the country. I love life on the go.

2008_06_01_aprella2.jpg
FB: You've been an artist's model, a nude model, a dancer, a singer, an actress, an activist, and probably even more things that we forgot to list. How do you make time for it all?
A: I just follow my heart and try to make the best choices I can for myself. Unfortunately I don't get enough sleep. The usual is 4 hrs or less a night.

FB: Where did you get your start as a model? Did you start as photographer's model and branch out into other areas, or did you follow a different path?
A: I was always interested in the art of photography. While snooping about camera equipment one day a photographer asked to take a test shoot of me. He then turned it over to an agency and it turned out that I was a look they needed. I was then booked for fashion runway shows and fashion editorial shoots. As I got more involved I discovered the world of couture high fashion and have since been hooked.

FB: How did you decide to model nude? Is the experience of nude modeling substantially different from modeling with your clothes on?
A: I strive to create more artistic looks with my work. I wouldn't call myself a nude model having almost never done a fully nude shoot. When I have done fully nude I am almost always covered with body painting giving the illusion that I am clothed.

With my modelling work I'm trying to create images that cause an inspired reaction be they nude and covered in body paint or beautiful high fashion. If I look at a photo and see nudity before I see creativity it's a nothing photo for me. I'm far more turned on by art clothed or not.

2008_06_01_aprella3.jpg
FB: Do you have any favorite stories from your years of modeling? Any photographers you love working with?
A: One of the funniest moments I've had as a model has to be when I was working with Gene Simmons of Kiss fame. Gene and I were in Times Square on top of The Hard Rock Café to do press for his show "Gene Simmons and The Family Jewels" Gene out of nowhere took my hand and made me grab his ass while he looked all coy with his finger over his lips for the cameras. Then the next day it was all over the celebrity gossip television show "EXTRA."

Every photo shoot and runway show carries its bag of fun memories for me. I love the people I work with and I have to mention one of my best friends, photographer River Clark as being my favorite person to do a photo shoot with.

FB: If you had to choose just one of the many areas you work in to focus on, what would it be?
A: I really wish I could pick just one thing to focus on. I'm always so jealous of those that have that one thing they love to do and they stick to it. Like my partner David Stoupakis. He's good at everything he attempts in the art world but he's known since he was a kid that he wants to be a painter and that's what he focuses on every day. For me it's just not that easy; in fact I'd say it's impossible for me to pick one area to focus on. So I guess I just focus on following my heart for a living.

FB: Do you have any upcoming projects Fleshbot readers should know about?
A: Zillions! I'll be home in NYC this Summer doing art sittings for Dr. Sketchy's and Runway shows with some local NYC lines. This autumn I'll be back on the road and am doing a ton of touring all around the world in 2008. You can keep up with me via my Events Calendar at aprella.com. See you guys soon!

<![CDATA[Twittergasms: The Real San Francisco Treat]]> Cable cars, dot com gazillionaires and Golden Gates aside, San Francisco is known for many things: its values, homegrown institutions like Kink.com, and generally being the object of Sodom-by-the-Bay nightmares for the entire Bible Belt. And let's not forget that everyone's favorite city also midwifed National Masturbation Month, which is getting more tech-savvy every year. This time around the San Francisco Masturbate-A-Thon—a fundraiser for SF's Center for Sex and Culture hosted by Nina Hartley on Sunday, May 25—will not only be doing its customary livecast of the wank-off, but has also launched a snazzy new blog and Facebook page and is promising plenty of Twittergasms to all comers. Read what a Twittergasm is, how to have one, and why masturbatrix extraordinaire Carol Queen says you should never, ever fake one after the jump.

. . .

Fleshbot: So what's a Twittergasm?
Carol Queen: A Twittergasm is a post to your Twitter profile indicating that you just had a real orgasm. You can use the codes ICSW (I came, so what?) and JOSW (jacking off, so what? related term to indicate you are jacking off), and we'll track, count and include your Twitgasms — though you can also add and create your own LOLTwitgasms if it gets you hot. By typing the character string: ICSW to your Twitter profile, you say with pride: I Came! Prudes of the world will be forced to realize once and for all, that no one really cares what adults do with themselves, and everyone does it. It's a way of coming out of the closet as someone who masturbates by posting to your twitter profile whenever you come. A secret handshake of sorts, only others who follow the Twittergasm profile, or who have read about the campaign will know, so your prudish friends will be left alone until they, too are enlightened.

We will be using the popular service Tweetscan to track Twittergasms in May and we will publish the results on the Masturbate-a-thon.com site and related blogs and social network sites. Twitterers can participate in national masturbation month in several ways.

2008_05_13_masturtwit.jpg

(1) Become a follower of one of these profiles:
http://www.twitter.com/jackingoff (the profile off the masturbate-a-thon.com)
http://www.twitter.com/thebiggesto (a profile that tracks the orgasms of twitterers)

(2) Use this code on your twitter profile to indicate whenever you have an orgasm:
ICSW or JOSW when you jack off. (Hint: multiple orgasms can be indicated by using a colon and a number to indicate how many: ICSW:3) No faking!

(3) Ask your friends and Twitter followers to pledge to donate a certain amount to the Center for Sex and Culture for every orgasm you have in May. Visit www.masturbate-a-thon.com/twitter.php to register your twitter profile for participation in National Masturbation Month (May 2008) and send emails to your friends to ask them to make a pledge on your behalf. Send a link to that same page where they can sign up to donate as much as they chose for each time you come. Donors do not have to be on Twitter to participate.

Fleshbot: Can't we just fake it ten times in a row so we can hang out with all the cool kids?
Carol Queen: No, never! There are three very good reasons why you should never, ever fake a Twittergasm:

(1) Because faking orgasm — and Twitgasm — robs you of pleasure. It's a sign that pleasure-seeking (masturbation or other kinds of sex) is winding down, and orgasm isn't happening, you're not going for it, and you're not really telling anybody else you're not going for it. Not only that, you're not even admitting any of this; you're sending a false signal of "I'm done"-ness, when you could just as easily be authentic and say, "You know what? I'm done, let's go do something else."

(But some of you might protest that it's not romantic or sexy to just say you're quitting before the true Tweet of satisfaction. Maybe, but see Reason #2, and actually, authentic sexuality IS sexy. Plus, faking teaches other people to pleasure you the wrong way. If you're doing it while masturbating, you're teaching *yourself* to do it the wrong way: to give up before you're discovered real satisfaction. That's just not a good message to send. Instead, decide to use the energy you expend with a bit hot fake come to get a little more into your body, learn a little more about sex and arousal, fantasize about the things you *really* want to, and resolve to respect pleasure more.)

(2) It's not nice to fool people, but it adds to everyone's misinformation and fucked-upped-ness about sex and pleasure when we fool people re: orgasm. Because that affects other people's sexuality as well as out own — it means that partners are misled as to our sources of optimum pleasure (how self-defeating can you get?), it robs others of the intimacy-building experience of going REAL orgasm-hunting with us, and it misleads other people about what's real about sex.

(3) Twitter is a social networking endeavor, and like society itself, these only really function well when citizens are above-board, real, and express their real needs and experiences. Otherwise the whole entity will be flooded with fakeness, and people's initial desire — to be connected — is sullied. Besides, it wastes airspace that can better be used to send around genuine sentiments... and Twittergasms.

<![CDATA[Ariel X Loves Her Job (And So Do We)]]> We've had the hots for Ariel X for quite some time now, so when we heard she was passing through Fleshbot West and leaving her customary trail of broken hearts and handprints on asses in her wake we begged for a chance to ask her a few questions. Turns out, you have to beg really nice-like when you're talking to Ariel, and our knees are pretty bruised as a result. But finding out that her fantasy is being abducted and fucked by 5-10 girls was well worth the obedience lesson ... especially since that is so totally our fantasy too! Weird!

Read our exclusive interview and check out our deliriously hardcore gallery featuring a taste of Ariel's adventures after the jump.

. . .

Fleshbot: Do you like your job, or what?
Ariel X: There are so many things I love about my job. Can I use a separate sheet of paper if I run out of space? I love that I can pretty much make my own schedule. I love that I see the same people all the time... They become like a distant family. I love that I can be a mega slut on camera and none of my coworkers aren't going to judge me for it... It's not like that working, say, a retail job. I love that I get bragging rights: people will be flipping through a porn mag and stop on a page with a hot chick on it and I can say, "I tapped that". I love that I get to sit in a makeup chair and have someone play with my face. I'll stop here cause I literally will go on and on for waaaaaaaaaaaay too long.

FB: No, really. Tell us what you like about your job.
AX: If the person I'm working with is REALLY into the actions we have to perform for a scene I get really turned on. If the person I'm working with is into ME I get really turned on. If a person I'm working with hones in on my personal fetishes.... bruahhahah on it's over... I'm going to get wet all over the place

2008_05_09_arielx2.jpg
FB: Anything have the opposite effect?
AX: As far as the stuff I'm watching. I will watch anything, just for shits and giggles. You know actually it takes a lot to turn me on just watching something.

As far as scenes I work, I would have to say that the only thing that would turn me off working with the fine girls I work with is when girls start moaning for no reason or doing "porn talk" to me; telling me to "fuck their pussy" or saying "fuck yeah" in a high pitches almost "baby talk" voice. I like to know that the girl I'm working with is going to be into the scene and not just doing what she does for every scene she's ever done.

FB: What's the difference between sex you have for work and sex you have for yourself?
AX: I've never been tied up and fucked in my personal life. I also fuck a man in my personal life, which up to this date and time in history I have never done on camera (it's 4/21/08). I feel as if sex in my personal life is a lot more intimate only because I'm able to really "get in there"... IE I don't have to play to the camera, show my tongue, spread pussy for the camera. Sex in my personal life becomes all about actually pleasing someone and getting them off where as sex for work becomes about showing the audience what I'm doing.

FB: What do people say about your job that is just plain wrong?
AX: People seem to think that all porn stars have AIDS. At least the genius members of MySpace all seem to think that. That irritates me, just the fact that people are uneducated yet think they are some kind of omniscient being who can asses the goings on of everyone's life.

2008_05_09_arielx3.jpg
FB: What's your number one, on-camera, not-yet-done fantasy?
AX: I'd like to be abducted on film, blind folded and abused by 5-10 girls I've never worked with before and then have to guess afterward who's puss was on my face. awww that's hot. Or I'd love to have my BF tie me up and bang me..but that's not gonna happen....boooo BF!!!

FB: What can we look forward to, Miss X?
AX: I'm going to be revamping my website, ArielX.com. I'm getting my tits done too, so keep an eye out for Ariel X with breasts. :)

<![CDATA[Getting Inside Some "Young American Bodies"]]> When Joe Swanberg pitched his idea for a series following the (sex) lives of a group of young people in Chicago to Nerve.com, he had no idea just how popular the show would become. Two years and millions of downloads later, "Young American Bodies" has moved to IFC.com, where its third season will debut on Tuesday, May 27.

We recently sat down with Joe Swanberg to ask him a few questions about the series: you'll find his answers, a preview clip from YAB's third season, and an exclusive preview gallery after the jump.

. . .

Fleshbot: What was the inspiration for "Young American Bodies"?
Joe Swanberg: I made a film called KISSING ON THE MOUTH that detailed the relationships of some young people in Chicago. I felt like I had more to learn and more that I was interested in exploring within that framework, so I pitched the show idea to Nerve. I had wanted to make a web series for a few years at that point, and it seemed like a really good fit with what Nerve was already doing.

FB: How did you recruit the cast? Was it difficult finding actors who were comfortable with the nature of the show?
JS: I make the show with my wife, Kris, and we spent a few weeks meeting with people and putting the cast together. Some of them were already friends of ours and most of the other people we met through MySpace. We posted bulletins explaining what we were trying to do and there were a few people who were interested. Once we found the right people, we worked with them to develop the show around their own lives and stories. Now that we have a few seasons online, it's easier to find people to be in the show, because they know what to expect. We are always looking for new cast members, so people should email me if they are interested.

FB: What's been your favorite episode?
JS: At this point we have made 32 episodes and I can no longer pick a favorite. My favorite relationship in the show is between Maggie and Ted. They are such a weird couple, but they somehow make sense. They break up in Season 2, but we brought Ted back for the new season because we all liked his character so much. A New York actor named Karl Jacob plays that part and he cracks all of us up. We bring him to Chicago just to do the show.

FB: Has switching from Nerve to IFC.com changed the direction or content in any way?
JS: Both websites have been really amazing about giving us total creative freedom with the show. It's a risky series to get behind, so it feels very nice to have both of these respected sites helping us find an audience.

FB: After "Young American Bodies," think you'll have any interest in shooting porn? If you did go in that direction, what kind of porn would you make?
JS: I would definitely be interested in shooting a porn, just to see what it's like. I would have to find the right actors to work with. That is the only thing that would make it interesting to me. If I made a porn, it would inevitably be just like my other films, full of conversations, awkward moments, long takes, minimal lighting, etc. Once again, if the right people are out there, please email me.

<![CDATA[The Bodacious Daphne Rosen: More Than Just Boobs (Though Those Are Amazing Too)]]> Once we got past the amazing Daphne Rosen's more obvious attributes, we found ourselves grooving over the fact that the only thing hotter than a gorgeous girl with bra-busting curves is one with brains to match. Rosen's a regular at San Francisco's Kink.com studios, so when we here at Fleshbot West found ourselves with a chance to drool in her general direction ask her a few questions (not to mention grab an exclusive hardcore gallery), we leaped the tallest pair of obstacles for the chance. Feast your eyes on Daphne's talents and enjoy the interview after the jump.

. . .

Fleshbot: So hat's a nice girl like you doing in a place like Kink.com?
Daphne Rosen: Having the time of my life — I love playing with all sorts of things, different fetishes and such, and I love domming. I just got to dom a beautiful girl and had the time of my life!

FB: What do you love most about being a porn performer?
DR: I get to get paid for having sex. I don't know that there could be much of a better profession than getting to have sex, which is incredible, and then the added benefit of getting paid for it — can you really ask for more?

2008_05_02_daphne2.jpg
FB: What makes a scene really hot for you?
DR: Passion — P-A-S-S-I-O-N. I love passion in a scene.

FB: Is there any kind of porn or a sex act that turns you off?
DR: Yes: I don't like it when there's no creativity — when it's vanilla. And by that I don't mean what people typically mean by vanilla. But I like something different, something added to the scene.

FB: Do your boobs have names?
DR: They do. Lilith and Eve.

FB: Does your pussy have a pet name?
DR: Donna Troy. From Wondergirl.

2008_05_02_daphne3.jpg
FB: What false, lame or insulting perceptions do people have about your job that you hate?
DR: That we are all fucked up idiots that were molested. The more people you meet in this industry, the more you realize that we come from across the board. And so while that is the typical stereotype, to stereotype us at all is underestimating yourself, because there's so much more to us than you could ever expect. I personally am a strong feminist and I think the industry is very pro-woman. But there's a lot of girls out there that would prove me wrong.

FB: Any fantasies you'd like to try out on camera that you haven't done yet?
DR: There's one that I've had for the longest time, and I sort of half fulfilled it but not really. I love the idea of having sex on a stopped elevator. So even if it was filmed and not for real per se, I think it would still fulfill the naughtiness of it. I sort of had sex on a freight elevator, but it was not the same. There was too much room.

FB: Speaking for all of Fleshbot, will you marry me? We promise we'll try to share you with the rest of the world...
DR: Absolutely — when?

FB: What should we look forward to from you, what's next?
DR: Lots of stuff — you'll just have to wait and see. Watch DaphneRosen.com!
