Ms. Flame proves an excellent teacher in "Penny Flame's Expert Guide to Handjobs for Men & Women," which delivers the sexy without skimping on the science.

Appearing before a multi-ethnic and multigenerational classroom, Flame whips out the visual aids, both tasteful black-and-white drawings and flesh-and-blood subjects Harmony and Justice Young, to demonstrate that handjobs are more than masturbation plus distance.

Flame emphasizes lube, hand hygiene, and taking it slow (but firm) with guest Harmony, who allows Flame to squeeze her labia together for the hushed onlookers ("Don't go straight for the clit before it's warmed up," Flame tells you sternly). But tragedy strikes when Justice Young appears for the male component, because Flame only gets him hard - she doesn't allow a release. That, my friends, is not Justice.

And this is the only drawback to the movie. The 30-minute classroom portion is filmed and edited like an infomercial for softcore late-night cable, with all the applause sound effects, approving audience shots, cheesy voiceover, and canned music. The artifice threatens to overwhelm the naturally compelling Flame and make her seem like more of a prop, when in fact her teaching style - when she's allowed to do it - is helpful and personable.

The infomercial gives way to several annotated hardcore scenes, including one with Flame and Anthony Rosano, that fill out the DVD.

Thankfully, Nina Hartley is here to offer her assistance, in the form of "Nina Hartley's Guide To Bondage Sex." With the help of bondage model and expert Claire Adams, Nina walks bondage beginners through all the basics of getting down and dirty while bound ... and throws in some super hot sex scenes by way of illustration.

Depending on your expectations, your enjoyment of the film may vary. For one thing, this is definitely some education with a side of porn and not the other way around: the film goes a full half hour without anyone getting naked, and the sex scenes themselves are heavily laced with instruction and tips.

Additionally, the film focuses on women tying up women and men tying up women, without a single bound man in sight. Yes, there are elements of bondage that are universal, and the film offers helpful insights for anyone looking to get bound and gagged. But if you're hoping for, say, some serious cock and ball torture action, this isn't the flick for you.

Nerds that we are, we still enjoyed learning the ins and outs of bondage sex—like what positions are best, how to tie a good knot, and all the fun little bondage gadgets. But we'd still recommend viewing this video when you're in a learning mood, not a fapping mood. You're bound to get something good out of watching the video, but it just might not be until after you've watched it, when you're putting Nina's lessons to good use.

There's a lot to love about "Exploring the 'O'." Nevertheless, it's the section on female ejaculation that really steals the show. Jamye kicks things off with a brief tutorial on Kegel exercises, helpfully aided by a live action demo from Lyla Lei. We've read countless descriptions of Kegels, so we feel we can say this with authority: they make a lot more sense when you're watching someone do them. Especially someone as cute as Lyla Lei.

Once Lyla's demonstrated the ins and outs of Kegels, Cytherea joins her for a demonstration of female ejaculation. Setting aside the inherent irony of using porn stars to educate about monogamy (because... well, yeah), "Seeking Monogamy Without Monotony" is a great movie. Like "Toying With Pleasure," it manages to strike just the right balance between education and porn: Waxman's lectures are lighthearted and fun, offering up solid information without interfering with the sex scenes used to illustrate the lessons. On occasion, however, porn wins out. The "role playing" scene between Nat Turnher and Jayna Oso spends about thirty seconds on the Jayna-as-maid plotline before devolving into a straight up fuckfest - though, come to think of it, that's probably how most attempts at role playing pan out.

Of the three scenes, we were most into the anal scene featuring Lexi Bardot and Benjamin Brat. A real life couple, Lexi and Ben have great chemistry that comes through in the scene and makes it a whole lot hotter — and it doesn't hurt that they seem to know quite a bit about making anal sex hot for everyone. The one disappointment? Though Jamye spends a great deal of time discussing finding the prostate and anal pleasure for men, Lexi is the only one whose ass gets pleasured.
