Just when we think this whole Blu-Ray/HD DVD format war has sorted itself out, with one technology finally winning out over the other, a new development emerges to swing the pendulum back the other way. First, it was Digital Playground
charging into the breach with their decision to publish titles in HD DVD (with other American companies following suit) and the reluctance of Blu-Ray proprietor Sony to allow its own disc replicators to wallow in adult filth. Now comes word out of Japan that Sony has loosed its belt a bit and is now providing equipment and support to a Taiwanese outfit that will allow Japanese porn companies to finally create new Blu-Ray discs and bring them back to the islands.
