With shows in Berlin, Athens, Zurich, Los Angeles, and other jet-setting destinations, photographer Jesse Finley Reed has been around the block more than most. And we here at Fleshbot don't only appreciate his eye for composition and color, we also like his frequent choice of subject matter: naked dudes. (We're really easy to please.) A group show featuring some of Reed's latest work opened at Sloan Fine Art in New York last night and we could not identify more with the theme: in his artist statement, he explains that the dim, backlit nudes and semi-nude studies feature men he met "through online communities in Berlin and New York". (And you thought Manhunt hookups were just for backyards. Silly!) If you can make it past the quirky (and currently malfunctioning) site links, you should also visit Reed's portfolios of hot guys showing off and his homage to Judy Garland. In fact, there's plenty of good stuff in there that would look great on our bedroom walls. And in our beds too.

In gayborhoods across the land, many of you will celebrate Pride this weekend. But although rainbow flags and drag shows in the park seem as common as Mariah Carey remixes these days, that hasn't always been the case: not so long ago queerness was something that was communicated through coded forms of dress and special language instead of through, you know, Mariah Carey remixes. So, as we celebrate another year of waiting for more states to follow the lead of Massachusetts and California, here are a few galleries of pics from the olden days—which in retrospect (and especially for fans of posing straps and loincloths), don't look like they were so bad in some ways after all.

So we guess we should use this space to tell you more about the divinely musclebound camguy (and world-class tease) Delro, except we really don't know much about him except for the fact that he has his own membership site and YouTube channel, that you can see more of him on CamWithHim.com, and that we're sure his monthly tank top expenses must be enormous. (Oh, and that we're not the only ones who are so taken by him, as you'll see in the other video we posted after the jump. But you probably could have figured out that his fan base is pretty big too just by looking at that thumbnail.)

We're not terribly surprised to see MalePerfection.net star and personal trainer Aaron Savvy trying out in LA for the second season of "American Gladiators"; after all it's not like his long-running gig as "Ajay" at Sean Cody didn't already give him enough experience with having large objects thrust at his face. (Yes, we totally borrowed that joke from "Clueless". Wanna make something of it?) We can only hope he aced his audition and that we get to see him grappling on some giant hanging platform with Alex "Militia" Castro, at which point the whole muscle porn/pop culture circuit will be complete. Fingers crossed!

If one of those new super-sized American Gladiators looks a little familiar to you, congratulations for remembering your gay porn history: before picking up one of those giant Q-Tip looking battle thingies and joining the cast of the soon-to-be relaunched NBC fighting spectacular, Alex "Militia" Castro made a few solo appearances for legendary COLT photographer Jim French back in 2001 as "Elian Cortez" (not to mention a few appearances as "Alex Castro" that we mentioned a while back). So if you're wondering why he's so talented at wielding one of those huge, heavy sticks ... well, now you know.

It's been a year now since COLT's revamped international label Olympus Studios crossed our radar, and director Roland Dane is back with "Bodyguards". The plot apparently involves a bunch of overly muscled personal security professionals who tool around cobblestoned Hungarian roadways in their BMW750i's ... that is, when they're not ravaging poor Fernando Nielsen's butt. Must be nice work if you can get it ...

If those ragged pages you've torn out of HX magazine and stuck on your refrigerator just aren't doing it for you by way of home decor anymore, you might want to make it down to DUMBO this evening for the opening of photographer Aaron Cobbett's new show at the Wessel + O'Connor gallery. With a style that falls somewhere between classic physique photography and the sexy fever dreams of James Bidgood and Pierre et Gilles —but with a glossy sensibility that's very much his own—Cobbett has made a career of taking pictures of some of porn's shining lights (including the suddenly-everywhere-we-look-this-week Matthew Rush and Erik Rhodes) and tastiest slabs of beefcake along with the occasional celebrity for the preeminent NYC bar rag gay listings magazine and other august publications including Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Honcho.
