Sure, we all doodled the occasional pair of boobies on the inside of our Trapper Keepers when we were in school, but few of us had the talent to turn that hobby into a full-fledged boobie-drawing career. Paul John Ballard makes recreating the female form his stock in trade, but the difference between him and the rest of us is that he actually knows how to make images of women that are actually sexy. From black-and-white charcoal drawings to '50s-style pin-up paintings and Dungeons and Dragons-esque fantasy art, his work runs the whole gamut of erotic female portraits. You can browse or buy work via his online portfolio and there's even some behind the scenes photographs of Ballard at work with his models including babelog favorites Bianca Beauchamp and Kyla Cole. Just think—if only we'd spent more time not paying attention in class, we too might have discovered our true artistic calling! (Or maybe not.)

Long-time Fleshbot fans are familiar with Molly Crabapple, our favorite NYC-based painter/writer/model/burlesque-dancing fire eater: in addition to being incredibly talented and sexy, she's also become a bit of a franchise thanks to her founding of "Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School," a bi-monthly life drawing class described as "what happens when cabaret meets art school." Instead of boring professors and lifeless models, Dr. Sketchy's features hot burlesque queens eager to entertain, plus fun contests and other assorted zaniness. (Oh, and there's drawing too, and anyone is welcome to come and test their skills at shading decorative pasties.) You don't even have to go to New York City to play along, since Dr. Sketchy's is also branching out to other towns, and there's even a book, due out next month. Check out the blog for photos of the action, then run out and buy some pencils and a lot of paper. One way or another, your wrist is definitely going to be sore.
