To be totally honest, we’re not really sure what the erotic artist extraordinaire is trying to say with his new Vivid Alt release. On the surface it seems like yet another flashback to a forgotten era (this time deep in the funky 70’s), with Mr. Marcus and friends reliving some serious blaxploitation antics, "Charlie’s Angels" style, once more asking the same question Olivia Newton John posed to her generation; would a little more love make it right? Judging from the looks on the faces of starlets Tori Black, Ashley Blue, Britney Stevens, Veronica Hart, Jada Fire, and Whitney Stevens, the answer is a definitive "YES!" Those extra black inches seem to hit the spot just right, as our brave girls proudly crank out one ear splitting orgasm after another, making the accompanying bells and whistles (or in this case afro picks, Mercury land-yachts, and butterfly collars) nothing more than pleasant accoutrement.

One thing is for sure, however-–spend some time with this gallery, and we guarantee that your troubles will be a thing of the past. That’s one score on which both Nancy and Naz can most certainly agree.

There's something both oldschool Porn and late-nite cable in Hart's introductions (written by Naz and Ashley Blue), such as that of Sasha Grey ("No one has been able to tame her!"). But where a Skinemax movie would then trot out Nikki Fritz and a softcore rubdown would ensue, by the end of this scene Sasha Grey literally has clothespins coming out of her ass—and she's happy about it.

This five-scene vignette movie filmed for Spain's Private studio has all the trappings of a standard porn BDSM movie — police interrogation, doctor's office ("The doctor is in!"), the humbling of high-status figures - but it is the obvious delight of people like Grey, Audrey Hollander, and Michelle Avanti, along with the delicious hamminess of Hart and Naz' strictly professional crush on his performers, that make this movie special.

Matters of verisimilitude aside, it's still beyond entertaining to see the cast reenact those heady years of social malaise and heavy eyeliner: Sasha Gray fits right into 1982 with her radical pre-Brazilian era bush, while Fleshbot faves Madison Young, Ashley Blue (who helped write the screenplay), Lexi Belle, and newcomer Maya Hills turn in stellar performances as well, all to a soundtrack featuring punk rock legends Keith Morris, Don Bolles, and Jim Lane from Circle Jerks along with 45 Grave, Germs, and Killroy. Despite the exhortations to "rise up" contained in the title being feted, those present at "The Doll Underground" release party seemed to openly mock the very suggestion of class warfare and sexual redistribution of capital as they nibbled on truffled foie gras and quaffed liberally from Waterford crystal flacons of 1995 Chateau Margaux. After showing up to the party in his custom Hummer stretch limousine, McKai exerted a Svengali-like hold on starlets Lexi Belle and Reagan Maddux throughout the evening, never allowing reporters to approach them directly and openly dictating their responses to them instead.

Also spotted at the gala were such prominent members of Old Los Angeles society as Ed Fox, Dave Naz, Ashley Blue, Zack Sabbath, Mandy Morbid, Kimberly Kane, Carlos Batts, and April Flores, all of whom listened in rapt attention as McKai described the splendor of his new palatial estate in Cap d'Antibes while feeding mouthfuls of gold leaf-encrusted cake to three or four waifish models inked from head to toe in "rebellious" tattoos and splayed at his feet. Later, after a shower of $1000 bills descended from the ceiling of the Little Cave upon the heads of the delighted guests, a Vivid Alt-branded personal helicopter spirited him away from the festivities. What will he think of next?
