App designers need to realize there is a burgeoning Android market. Even a lot of the mobile verions of websites, I'm looking at you Naughty America, are not very compatible with Android. 4/5 videos do not load. So disappointing. #iphone
We are so far away from evolving where procreation will be a problem it's not funny. Some have said aliens visit the planet because of that problem, so they go on intergalactic booty runs here.
The only problem is people who think sex is going virtual and two people can cyber with devices and that's going to somehow be like the real thing. People who try are going to get what they deserve, a buzzing rubber hand doing their thing.
Genetically, we're maybe 5 million years away from a problem or a change. Until then we'll be in the same boat.
@Hello_Newman: Procreation will be a problem, but not in the way you think. In the future we will have to slow down procreation, almost bring it to a stop. Because there is only so much room on this planet for people. And with new medicine allowing people to live for much, much longer. If not as long as they like, healthily. It's going to accelerate the need to put a cap on births.
@Hello_Newman: You should seek the meaning for the term "transhumanism" before making that kind of comments. The whole point of transhumanist philosophy is that biological evolution is far too slow and unreliable to be trusted with our further development, and needs to be accelerated with nanoscopic cybernetics and optional genetic manipulation. If the transhuman visions come true, in only few centuries we all have passed the need for genes entirely, having transferred our consciousness to more durable shells that don't suffer from such biological issues as ageing.
Will we have sex then? Why not? I suspect that we'll be doing everything imaginable with our sensory perception and more.
@Lightice: I doubt the durable shell thing will ever come to pass. Because aging isn't something that has to happen to biological creatures. It's merely what currently happens to most.
We will be able to, and are getting quite close to being able to stop age related decay from occurring. It's just a matter of making our self repair systems work properly, replacing dead cells with new ones and keeping DNA from degrading.
@Kakkoii: The problem is that this makes us vulnerable to various forms of cancer, and limits our ability to develop. Immortality as we are just isn't a goal worth having. That's just eternal stagnation, and in practice probably leads to eventual suicide.
There's two options in this world for species, and the goal of transhumanism is to bring them to individuals as well: evolve or die out. As long as we evolve, gain new abilities, new possibilities, life has a meaning for us. But if we stop changing, we'll just get hopelessly bored.
@fxsoap: Oh, we'll get many of these abilities in this century, if the predictions are correct. But humanity as a whole probably won't be a collection of immortal superminds before a few centuries have passed.
@Lightice: Uhh no. The result of perfecting our self repair systems would prevent cancer, not make us vulnerable to it lol. And one would think by this time we would have the technology to prevent cancer anyways.
And I didn't say anything about not improving on ourselves. Just not replacing ourselves with non organic materials completely. Maybe an arm, or a leg or heart. But the brain and skin should stay organic, but still improved on through genetic tinkering.
I think that it'll be much different than any sort of sex we'd recognize. We'll probably just wire our brains in, set phasers to orgasm and never ever get any work done. It'll only be the geezers having it the old fashioned way, but that's only if those damn kids would get off my virtual lawn.
That's the inventor of the 2Suit testing it out. Anyone else see her on HBO (Beastmaster)? this isn't porn but this is one time where the clothes had me interested. Yeah it's hard out there, no pun. :) I read out it at OUTER SPACE SEX COMPLICATION. She's a turn on --brilliant!! and that's saying something when that's hotter than the pictures here hah

Hmmm....maybe you didn't see the preview for the movie Surrogates! Soon man, less than 50 years from now, apparently.
