    Originally, "3D" ultrasound took a flat "section" (2D) and followed it through time (+1D). The newer "4D " ultrasound composites the 3D pictures and projects them onto a 2D surface (your screen). Sure, it's only really a 3D projection, but it allows you to rotate the image and see it from the side (as shown in the video), and also adds depth to the unrotated image.

    I was just pondering today if strippers are drawing fewer tips, & (many) fewer private-dances, in this economy. On the one hand, the patrons have less disposable income to commit to the champagne room; on the other, the lack of funds depresses, & a (good) lapdance certainly elevates the mood. I suppose it might depend on the club, then. The smaller mom n' pop nudie bars, with limited space & even more limited potential for tittilation (as one who has been to The Stal's Spotlite Lounge (though thankfully, not since Nov '06) I can speak to the low calibre), are hurting, but the bigger clubs & chains are prolly raking.

    @bidonnamarie: Playboy's stock traded around $8-$10 per share around a year ago, and now it trades at $1.25-$1.75. It is trading at a historic low.


    The magazine is only a tiny part of its core business. Much of its business is in DVD distribution and video-on-demand (like hotel-room porn). They have been hammered lately because of online competition, the bad economy, and the collapsing publishing industry due to lower ad revenues.


    One gets the sense that Playboy is out of touch, like their TV show "Girls Next Door", which many episodes of glamorous partying were filmed months before the economic collapse. But despite their so-called "reality TV" show, I suppose Playboy has never been an accurate indicator of reality.


    And stop being hard on your own looks. Love your real self!

    @muhammadisabear: A while ago I rented a great film called "Bigger Stronger Faster" - a documentary about steroids. There was a part in the movie where the filmmaker subjects himself to the fine art of Photoshop so that he can use his body to sell his own personal brand of muscle-building supplements.


    A couple hours on Photoshop can do amazing things to any body. Everybody does it, whether it's muscle-mags or porn mags. Check out:
