@Lux Alptraum: As silly as it sounds, I think she is being persecuted for her freedom of speech. If she doesn't answer the question the way she did, then no one cares who she is, then the pictures aren't as big of a deal as they have been made out to be. And it doesn't help that she pissed off one of the biggest celebrity bloggers out there, who you can't convince me didn't immediately start looking for dirt on her. Reply

I think that her deeds and words after the fact - in essence saying she's a clean, moral, upright Christian - are what did her in. What's happening to her now is the same type of thing that shot down Dr. Laura. I watched that press conference w/ Prejean & the Donald and I just felt sad. Prejean keeps her crown and I'm fine with that, because legally she gets to say what she said. She was not friendly at all during the press conference, with this cold hard stare of hatred for the media and her dismissive response of "I'm a model and I'm a Christian". Donald gets to milk all this for all the millions of dollars worth of publicity. The Christian right gets Prejean as spokeswoman of family values with her boob job & seminude pics, while Perez Hilton gets to be on CNN and be America's gay spokesman with his sleazy & cheesy web site.

Great. I hate them all and the noise they make on my TV. Donald, Prejean, Hilton, the whole lot. Y'know what, I think we should pass a federal law denying marriage to just these three, and then legalize it for everyone else. Reply
