    @Conrad: There have been a few people that have slowed down/stopped commenting over the past few months (Am I the only person that misses BeautifulAgony?), but I think overall level is about the same. Especially if we get a post that gets people riled up.

If I had to nail down a number of consistent straight commenters (there seem to be a few consistent commenters who post on gay stories but not straight), that's probably somewhere between 20-30. Do wish it were more though. And I also wish people would stop saying Fleshbot isn't owned by Gawker anymore (when it still is), while I'm on it.

    There is a huge outcry by local bdsm community and its supporters, including calls for boycott that are already on flyers in Castro, with more to come.

    The main reason for this, though, is the intentionally hate-mongering and ignorant tone of the article, including words such as "torture porn" and comparing consensual bdsm to Abu Grahib - Matt went as far as to dig out an "authority" on the subject that has been arrested 13 times for destruction of pornography...     That's bullshit.
