(To be honest, I kind of wish there was more broadness in the type of comments accepted. The funniest satire is often the most scathing and critical, in my opinion).

And I'm sorry if I gave the impression that I was offended by the whole doughnut thing. I'll have to go back and see what I wrote, but you would be correct in making the observation that Canada has an intense obsession with doughnuts, and that it is tied up into part of our cultural identity. (However, I might have been trying to point out that this part of our "identity" is based more on myth than in fact, and is not a true reflection of our culture, blah, blah, blah... etc.).
