I didn't know that they're so hard to achieve for most people. I think they happen often with me because my partner orgasming is the hottest thing that can happen, so i naturally get so turned on that i come, too.

Actually, I never found them that difficult to achieve with a bit of restraint: If both partners actively work to hold back for a bit, or if the lady is capable of multiple per lovemaking session, one person just needs to whisper a husky countdown and you're good as gold!

For beginners, it's probably easier to make love until the lady climaxes once, and then lighten up for a bit while staying embraced. After a minute or so, ramp it back up, and if the guy/ partner feels ready, s/he can usually catch the luck lady on her second without a problem.

I always operated under the assumption that the woman would get hers first and then the man would follow. Why does it have to be simultaneous??

@DontFearTheReaper: not very many men operate under than assumption, let me tell you. also, don't fear the reaper is one of my favorite songs of ALL TIME.

once EVER in my whole life -- when i was 19 -- did i experience simultaneous orgasm. i think i was so surprised that it just weirded me out more than anything else. i always thought it was like winning the lotto. apparently there's a science behind it, though.
