I say that grooming your own "South America jungle" is helpful for both girls and boys. I don't need to lose my lover's face among my out-of-control pubic hair when she goes down on me, so I keep it trimmed. Plus it can be really really sexy!
If only anal sex had been more popular when I was a teen... oh well, I'm making up for lost time now as a grown-up! :)
I recently counseled a college girl whose boyfriend could only climax in a sitting-up position because his only sexual experience up til then was jerking it to Internet porn in front of his computer.
Fear mongering and panic about technology (sexting = kiddie porn on cell phones - oh no!) will happen. Whatever. Internet porn (and technology in general) will inevitably affect teen sex trends (and adults too!), and I'm sure that the same was said when the VCR was made. But what truly matters is that kids learn to respect themselves & others. And that kids need to understand consequences & take responsibility for their actions.

@Conrad: Random sidenote: I'm amused that they're still running with the "boys think pubic hair is gross!" line, even as pubic hair is making a comeback in pornos.
@Lux Alptraum: I don't think it is gross, but i've certainly seen some horrible examples of pubic hair gone wrong.
I will admit that I am all for bare. I don't expect women to do what I won't do, however. Shaving, modeling, anal, etc... equal opportunity all the way.
That's it??!!! If I'd had her for my lunch lady, I finish my veggies everyday. Can't believe there's a hullabaloo over that! At least, if they fire her she has something to fall back on, or cushion the fall.
I think you guys are missing the point. I mean one day you are a glamorous awesome porn star and then your serving chocolate milk to six year old assholes? there but for the grace of god go i.
Without an education, a young woman can go into the sex industry. Once that's no longer an option, then what? It's a series of low-paying, physically demanding, and (some would argue) far more demeaning jobs.
I don't know if it's a gender issue or a class issue. I suspect it's both, and that's heartbreaking.
@Lux Alptraum: Not what I meant at all. Was just trying to be tongue and cheeky. Just like all handicapped people are not sexual beings, and all black guys are well endowed. It's all a bunch of BS.
People get way too uppity about sex when compared to everything else. William Aires can become a prestigious professor, but Crystal Gunns can't be a friggin' lunch room aide just because she chose to do some lawful sexy things? C'mon! We need to get a grip.
@MalzyWheels: failed terrorist != pornstar turned lunch lady. also its ayers. and hes not very prestigious. unless its the Ward Churchill kind of prestigious.
I'm supporting Louisa all the way. The school board wants to fire her even though Louisa did nothing illegal and her porn past was 5 years ago.
If she gets fired from her $5,772-a-year part-time job, she should sue and she deserves a huge payoff. I think a good way to determine the settlement is:
annual salary (5772) X # of years to retirement (30?) X bra size (50?).

should come out to about $8 million.
