Anna Paquin Brings Meaning Her Breasts Back To "True Blood"

It was Anna Paquin who first ignited our interest in vampirerotidrama "True Blood." Well, Anna Paquin and her lovely breasts, at least (isn't that usually how it goes around here?).

So it was somewhat upsetting to see Anna's breasts go on hiatus for a few weeks. Were they being taken from us? Was "True Blood" abandoning its lead's endowments in favor of other girls' charms? We were totally almost on the verge of writing to HBO in protest...but then, last night, Anna came back to us in all her topless glory.

And everything was right as rain.

At long last, the wait is finally over: "True Blood" has returned; and with it, plenty of (totally justified) celebrity nudity. Season Two's first episode aired last night, with beautiful shots of Anna Paquin's naked body fleshing out the storyline.

If this is any indication of what the rest of Season Two has in store for us...it's going to be a very good summer indeed.

Mr. Skin Honors This Year's Achievements In Cinematic Nudity

Apparently there's some sort of awards show this weekend? The "Oscars" or something? Well, while the mainstream media reports on that, we'll be analyzing the results of something far more important: Mr. Skin's Anatomy Awards.

As with all awards shows, there's certainly some behind the scenes politicking and drama at the Anatomy Awards, and there are definitely some awards we take issue with (Anna Faris in "The House Bunny" for Best Butt?); overall, however, we're glad to see that the real stars—like Marisa Tomei and Anna Paquin—shone through and garnered top honors.

And anyway, we should all keep in mind that, no matter who takes home the trophy, at the end of the day, we're all winners. After all: these are awards for naked celebrities. Nuff said.

In spite of the show's ~~brilliant~~ viral marketing, we somehow managed to miss the first few episodes of "True Blood," HBO's vampire drama. But after tuning in last night, we have a feeling we'll be keeping a closer watch on the series. Forget the whole vampire thing: there are boobs in this show. And not just any boobs—famous boobs! Anna Paquin's boobs! Our subscription to HBO just paid for itself.
