The satisfying thing about "It's A Mommy Thing 5"—aside from the Shayla LaVeaux-obvious—is that the seductions went both ways and were just a little complicated - just like in real life!

Director Patrick Collins—probably because he owns Elegant Angel—allowed his characters to take their time setting things up.

James Deen works hard to get his girlfriend's mom, Raylene, into the sack. Luckily, her continuous protestations don't alter his course one bit. Cocky bastard.

Faye Reagan is disgusted by mom Diamond Foxx's webcam displays, but then can't pass up the opportunity for a three-way with boyfriend Anthony Rosano.

The purring Shayla LaVeaux pounces on a young fan who happens to be a porn director, shoring up the myth that porn directors have sex with the talent.

And Sky Taylor, seducing her best friend's son over a martini glass, shares some of the early year's best dialogue yet:

Bree's Big Screw Review

I don't know who this DCypher guy is, but he certainly knows what he's doing. "Bree's Big Review" is a spoof-spoof (that is, a parody of parody porn), so the campy gets turned up to 11 while Bree and her co-host, Faye Reagan, review such titles as "E.T.: The Extra Testicle," "Hairy Pussy & the Sorcerer's Bone," "Spiderpussy," and "A Cock In Lips Now". Even before the main event begins, we're treated to a spoof trailer in the style of "Die Hard" featuring Angie Savage and veteran director Jim Enright. It's pretty much all he promised in his sneak peek.

Despite all the corny porn jokes, "Bree's Big Screw Review" delivers a myriad of minute, precise jabs at mainstream and adult films-and they're actually funny. For example, in the "E.T." double-parody, Shawna Lenee gets ditched by her boyfriend, and is consoled by Marco, the tri-testicled alien hiding in a pile of her stuffed animals. The pre- and post-coital banter is awkwardly rich: Marco moans "Bone home!" while Shawna thickly lays down the border hopping immigrant/visitor from outer space duality. The tone is best summed up as "Haha! Marco is a Mexican!" and while this may not be funny on its own (Marco is actually Uruguayan), it's hilarious in the context of parody porn's habits. We all remember how "Flight Attendants" pushed the "Haha! Misty Stone is a sassy Black woman!" jokes.

The movie isn't just about industry commentary; it does generate its own unique yuks. "A Cock In Lips Now" stands out for Bree's dead-on Martin Sheen impression (if Martin Sheen were a squeak toy) as well as Tommy Gunn's intensity in the role of Colonel Dick Hurtz. I was especially moved by the way Tommy somberly whipped out his cock while Taps played. "Harry Pussy" was also a personal favorite, not because of any intellectually stimulating aspect, but because there's nothing better than seeing Dane Cross in a young wizard's outfit saying "Erectus Penisus Nowicus!"

Is "Bree's Big Screw Review" more humorous than it is arousing? It's hard to say. On one hand, the cast is phenomenally talented, and watching people like Evan Stone and Faye Reagan get their (respective) fuck on is never boring. On the other hand, the fucking doesn't seem that inspired. With the notable exception of Faye and Bree's cathartic tongue battle at the end of the show, the actors seem to be plowing through each other with little excitement.

By no means is "Bree's Big Screw Review" a lethargic climb. The performers look like they're having fun, and it's hard not to have fun watching them. Nepotism aside, this movie is most certainly worth checking out. It'll get that parody taste out of your mouth, and you might even start touching yourself in the process! And now that I've written this review of a review of spoofs of spoofs, the universe can go ahead and collapse.

Like "The Birthday Party," "The Perversion" balances hardcore with high art; not only is it satisfying to watch, but it gives you something to talk about around the water cooler with, you know, the co-workers who understand you. The movie is described as an exploration of "artistic metaphors of domination and submission," although it's hard to divide the symbols and metaphors from the literal demonstrations of sexual control. But whatever, Sasha Grey wears a cape and looks fucking fantastic.

We probably don't need to tell you how great the sex is, but some things deserve mention. As previously showcased, Dane Cross and Faye Reagan dominate Sindee Jennings through a bizarre mix of camaraderie and exclusion. At one point, they Eiffel Tower her (that is, they join hands as Sindee is fucked by Dane and eats out Faye) with such romance and passion that it almost strips that position of its frat house connotations.

One of the most surprising things about "The Perversion" is how much we enjoyed Nick Manning in his scene with Tommy Gunn and Kiera King. In this vignette, you see Kiera lying on the ground, wearing a leash, and lapping up the puddle of booze spilled on the floor. While the music is still going, Nick and Tommy lumber their enormous frames into the scene, pick Kiera up, and fuck her. All this is standard.

But when the music stops, Nick Manning comes off as a crazed, three-dicked Cerberus barking orders to GAG ON THAT COCK (emphasis his), and yet it somehow fits! Honestly. It's especially menacing juxtaposed with Tommy Gunn's cool, silent, and vicious demeanor.

Seeing Sasha master the women around her is always refreshing, and it's in her scenes with Evie Dellatoso and Nikki Rhodes that the metaphors of domination clearly come across. For example, while pushing around Nikki, she keeps black tape over her nipples. This effectively denies the viewer the full image of her breast; Sasha dominates the imagery.

And dominate she should. Now that Grey Art is pumping out films, she can feel free to show us whatever she'd like.
