One of the great things about this job is that porn and sex are so universal they provide an excellent way to learn about other cultures. Unfortunately, as has been well documented in the past, our foreign language deficiencies sometimes hinder our pursuit of the global experience. That's why we're so indebted to the blogmaster of Thighs Wide Shut for teaching us what may be the most important phrase you'll ever need to know in Dutch: "sliploos." We believe that it roughly translates to English as "without underwear," as it's mostly attached to websites featuring celebrity upskirt shots and the like. Isn't that much more elegant than our crude use of the word "commando"? So the next time you're stuck in Amsterdam without identification, just ask a local to point you toward the nearest sliploos and we're sure that everything will turn out just fine.
