The RealTouch device is slightly bigger than that squash you devoured yesterday, and far more interesting to put your penis in. Starting with an ever-increasing library of straight, gay, and even anime P.O.V. videos, RealTouch's North Carolina-based programmers then assiduously mark, frame by frame, each movement of (for example) Tori Black's mouth, adjusting for heat, wetness, friction, and ferocity, sending these routines to two opposing conveyor belts within the machine. Unlike other marital aids in which the user actually has to do more work to operate them, the RealTouch is particularly eager to please. You select a video and put your dick in a machine. Science and your own self-control do the rest.

"I just stood there," one test subject said. "It really did all the work for me."

One drawback of the RealTouch is that it is not yet Mac compatible. So I farmed out the job of testing the device and its web interface to three PC users. Top of the list of my review criteria was not to tell me how weird it was.

Initial web setup and login to the RealTouch account were simple, followed by a Windows Media-based software download that was considerably less difficult than a WordPress install. Our review model made a whirring sound and one subject was tentative about making a penile approach to it.

"I didn't know if I'd come back," he said.

But they were Heroes, and each on different occasions tried videos with Tera Patrick, Ashlynn Brooke, Tori Black, Bree Olson, and Jenna Jameson, noting that Bree used up a lot of lube.

It’s not every day that we here at Fleshbot HQ talk about a 4 hour compilation release —but then again, it’s not every day that the reigning Queen of Porn, Tera Patrick, releases the best of what she’s got for your viewing pleasure. Today, however, just so happens to be that day. The good perverts over at Teravision have pored over their extensive archives, piecing togethe the very best of what they had to offer into one fantastic release: and quite honestly, it is rather impressive.

Tera Patrick and her rockstar pimp husband Spyder get down and grungy together, but they also have scenes with other people—which, we must say, are pretty great. Last night, WeTV—a network we were surprised to learn was in our cable package—broadcast an episode of their documentary series "Secret Lives of Women" that focused on the not-so-secret (to us, anyway) world of pornstars. Apparently, they don't just have sex 24 hours a day! The show focused on Fleshbot faves Gina Lynn, Nicki Hunter, Tera Patrick and Buck Angel (who used to look more like a woman, so we guess he counts), and it did a good job of relating each one's unique story while treating like them like ordinary people who just happen to have not-so-ordinary jobs.

All right. Erotica L.A. had those, too, in its three-day consumer fleshly bazaar at the L.A. Convention Center. But for those of us with more refined libidos, there was also a booth selling Egyptian cotton sheets. And if you need to ask how those are erotic, you've never jerked off to Lemmy Kilmister.

But discount travel agencies and car detailing booths weren't all Erotica L.A. had to offer; there were also dozens of porn stars either signing at stripped-down booths (by comparison with the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas in January) or roaming the aisles.

Those who say the porn business is dying need only have looked at the long lines stretching in front of a vaguely-military Belladonna to be assured that, no, only the DVD and massive booth-renting business is dying - porn is fine.

Capping Saturday's festivities was the third annual F.A.M.E. Awards, hosted by Jesse Jane and Randy Spears. The adorable Bree Olson won Best Rookie. Other people won other things, and we took their pictures, but we admit we didn't watch the ceremony. We were too busy trying to buy sheets.

Almost "Teradise": Beware Falling Clichés

There's nothing new about sending a bunch of pornstars to some lush tropical paradise to do the same sort of things they do here in Porn Valley; in fact it's almost become a cliché at this point to see gals like Lucy Lee, Britney Skye, Alexis Amore, and Nikki Benz writhing nakedly under waterfalls or getting drilled by oiled up muscle men on black sand beaches. So when a megastar like Tera Patrick announces a sequel to a blockbuster like "Teradise Island", we expect it to be something more than just the same old same old.

Unfortunately, that's just what "Teradise Island 2" is. Now that Jenna Jameson has officially retired, the Porn Queen crown has passed over to Tera — which means that porn fans have the right to expect something more from her than this messy affair of sloppy direction and even worse editing. With too-artsy slow-mo transitions, tepid performances from practically everyone in the cast, and the use of queen bee Tera herself to cover up all those rough patches, let's just hope that the "Teradise" franchise doesn't become a trilogy.

I won't give away the surprise ending but I will say that these screencaps provided by Teravision are better than the full motion version from whence thay came. I honestly wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone unless they were a diehard Tera fan — and we all know she deserves a better vehicle for her considerable talents.

2008 AVN Awards Red Carpet: And the Line Goes On Forever

200 people (and one Lorax) walked the AVN Awards red carpet last Saturday night, and the line of porn stars and their co-walkers lengthened down the hallways of Mandalay Bay for more than three hours. Altogether it was an orderly group, and we can tell you from personal experience that it was the press photographers who were the least well-behaved. Here we see a load of starlets (that is their official collective term) getting ready for the carpet media gauntlet, which ran from Dave Navarro at one end to Robin Leach at the other, mercifully passing through Playboy interviewer Casey Parker in the middle. While Jesse Jane rovided interview wrap-ups from a stage just outside the Awards, Casey Parker was Playboy's Girl on the Floor, and as such she probably appeared in more photographs than anyone. By the end f the evening she was just as chipper as in the beginning. Here she chats with jessica drake about oing anal. ("You don't just dive in," drake said.)

Flower Tucci can always be counted on for an outfit that seems at once accessible and impossibly out of reach. Here she confounds us with a prize that could only be won after several frustrating hours of unlacing.

Marco Banderas and partner Lisa DeMarco (get it?) cut striking figures, but what was more impressive was Banderas' skill at turning just in time toward any camera aimed at him from anywhere in the room, as if to say, "Hola, Fleshbot readers!"

I hear things are just as bad up in Lake Erie.

We have never been sure of Robin Leach's function at this event, but we always see him. Leach's own cameraman was beloved of porn stars for asking Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick who they were (thugh he did recognize Jameson beau Tito Ortiz). Meanwhile, Leach kept a personal record of the Not So Rich and Famous.

At the opposite end of the carpet performers were kept in yet another holding pen.

Former performer Joe Lawrence and signees of his talent agency were the last to walk the red carpet. Much of the press had left at this time since the awards show was two hours late, but no porn star was left behind.

But, like, we're totally not gloating about that: chances are that however you're spending your Saturday night is a lot more pleasant and comfortable than watching an overlong awards ceremony on giant screens from uncomfortable seats in a cavernous arena. Then again, it probably also doesn't involve watching dozens of barely legal porn starlets teetering down the red carpet in too-high heels wearing badly altered prom dresses and the thrill of seeing the occasional reality show star getting sloppy drunk a few rows away from you. So it all balances out.

Anyway, we still wish you were here ... wish is why we rigged up this sort-of-liveblogging post to keep you up to date on what's going on in Las Vegas at this very moment ... er, at least while we were writing it.
