When used in the same sentence, the words "virtual", "reality", and "sex" invariably promise more than they deliver; sure, we like watching those "Virtual Sex With ... " DVDs as much as the next armchair pervert, but until Digital Playground comes up with a viable way to have the real Jenna or Jesse Jane jump out of our TV screen and into our laps at just the right moment we'll have to settle for approximations like Topco's new Virtual Reality Sex Machine, a piece of interactive game software coupled with a USB powered, vagina-shaped masturbation device that enables one to have presumably awkward sexual congress with 3D cyber vixen "Nurse Nikki". (Topco also mentions something about the kit being used for "interaction with Real Live Women", but provides frustratingly few details about how that will work.) As fun as it looks, we doubt it will ever truly be "just like having sex with the most beautiful girls in the world" as the promo copy promises—but hey, $50 is probably still less than you'd spend on getting the real thing, so maybe it'll be worth looking into upon its July release after all.
