Burning Angel's "Re-Penetrator" short might've set a new standard for the intersection of hardcore sex and gore (not to mention a world record for Most Fake Blood Used in the Least Amount of Time), but producer/director David Quitmeyer seeks to up the ante with the feature-length "Slaughter Disc", an exploration of the "darker side of the world of adult entertainment": "Most of the people who have read the script admitted that it freaked them out or gave them nightmares, then they turn around and tell me it's one of the coolest things they've ever read—even people who hate porn ... I take that as a compliment since this feature is first and foremost a serious horror film. I want it to scare the hell out of you." Before you get too upset over the sexualization of extreme violence, keep in mind that he's also responsible for the even more horrifying "Clown Porn" DVD, which we've been traumatized by ever since scoring a review copy at AEE. So we wouldn't take any of it too seriously.
