In principle, we're not opposed to hiring a hot girl to escort you around, offering encouragement when you've failed and high-fives when you succeed. However, even we find the concept behind CaddyChicks to be vaguely ridiculous - and a little bit sexist. Perhaps it's the company's phony stab at empowerment when claiming they want to "introduce more women to the game of golf" (provided they don't play it) and "hav[e] more women enjoy the sport" (as cheerleaders.) Why can't they just call it what it is: paying eye candy to carry heavy bags for you? As our muscleheaded brother Deadspin puts it, drunk golfers plus hot co-eds equals "a sexual assault case waiting to happen," but in a world where sixteen-year-old Michelle Wie can stick it to grown men, girls should be encouraged to do more than just warm your putter. Once your foursome hits the clubhouse, on the other hand, anything goes.
