In the wake of this month's field trip to Vegas, it would be easy to believe from our coverage that Team Fleshbot attended a DeArmond Relief convention or just went there to play Fist Tag with Hillary Scott. But one of AVN's (until recently) most singular awards, Best New Starlet, almost went unnoticed in this year's "Corruption" maelstrom.

Here are some snaps of Naomi from the set of "Cousin Stevie's Pussy Party 19: Hot Summer Orgy".
With awards being granted in over 120 categories, Best New Starlet is supposed to be the AVN Award that is most memorable. Previous winners include Kylie Ireland, Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick, and Ginger Lynn, all of whom are dear to fans' hearts. It remains to be seen if recent winners like last year's McKenzie Lee has staying power or if her immediate predecessor, Cytherea, can overcome her notoriety and endure.
Naomi seems to be someone that fame, if not fat, can stick to. A multilingual SoCal native, Naomi did nothing if not work it this year and seemed, the few times I met her, to really be focused on getting attention and keeping it, a quality to cultivate in a business with a short memory and a hunger for fresh talent.
"Pussy Party"s are usually delightful all day, all-girl affairs. The difference in Naomi's demeanor at the end of Red Light District's "Gang Bang 5" (co-starring Best New Starlet nominee Sasha Grey) was striking.
I asked Lexi Bardot, Cindy Crawford, Naomi, and Kylie Wilde to "pose naturally".
