At first glance, photographer Peter Jirmann Jr.'s black and white studies of impossibly perfect, athletic female nudes seem to be yet more examples of your standard (if beautifully shot) fashion-inspired artsy cheesecake, with a sensibility somewhere between Bruce Weber and Helmut Newton, until you start to notice that some of the figures are suspended from ropes or wrapped in chains or hanging from scaffolding. Which, like, makes them totally different.
