Calvin Klein can't seem to catch a break. They already caught flak for this billboard in SoHo, and now people are upset over this new advertisement. What is wrong with New York these days?

Maybe Calvin Klein thought if they diminished the number of sexual participants, maybe showed some "traditional" male-female gender roles, they might not cause such a hissy fit. We don't really care how Calvin Klein will react. We just want to know who these angry, skin-hating New Yorkers are.

Internet giant Google China issues formal apology for being too slow, in the Chinese government's estimation, to remove all links to porn sites from its search engine.

The crackdown on websites that are "threatening morals by spreading pornography and vulgarity" continues in China, targeting sites like Baidu, Google and Sina.com. TV reports actually showed government officials hauling digital equipment from offices. We're glad we live in the good ole U S of A. Even though our own government may have made us sad for a good, oh, eight years, at least we still have our porn!

Like the rest of the world, we first heard about it months ago and then promptly forgot, but it seems that the mayor of Secaucus just got the memo and has naturally decided that he wants to put a stop to the whole thing—four days before it opens.

Most of the industry's big names are planning on attending (Exxxotica Miami drew about 22,000 people this year), so we're talking about pulling the plug on what is potentially the biggest porn event on the East Coast at the very last minute. Pit bull Mayor Dennis Elwell is obviously deeply concerned about what goes on in his town, which is why he apparently had no clue that the three-day expo has been booked at the Meadowlands since June and he's willing to fight a few lawsuits to keep legitimate business dollars out of his town.
