It's a little known fact that one of the hottest magazine photo shoots to come out each year can be found in the pages of Allure magazine. That's right: while FHM, Maxim and the like pump out weekly lingerie shots of lesser-known models and reality TV stars (not that there's anything wrong with that) Allure devotes one issue each each year to its "Look Better Naked" feature. (Tip No. 1: Only let yourself be photographed naked by Allure.) That's where they quietly gather bona fide—for the most part—female celebrities and convince them to pose completely nude. There's strategic hand-placing and very flattering lighting, of course, but for those of you who occasionally grow tired of the picture perfect übermodels you're usually subjected to, it's almost worth having a subscription to a ladies' magazine. Oh, and one more thing ... would you look at Carla Gugino? It's quite a challenge to look better naked than that.
