Skråmestø uses Photoshop and canvas painting techniques to transform gay porn images found on the Web into moody, surreal, and vividly textured works of art, and in doing so draws attention to the erotic moments in a photograph that are often overlooked: "All I try to do is to make those details emerge. I polish the rough stone and try to turn it in to a jewel."
