Over the last six years, photographer Richard Renaldi has taken self-portraits with his partner in hotel rooms in places ranging from Philadelphia to Guatemala to Boise, Idaho; the result is a series that juxtaposes themes of transience and stability in photographs that are as notable for their formal qualities as for their intimacy and emotional resonance.
