Most porn is pretty funny independent of any attempts to parody it, what with boom mics dropping into the frame here and there, bad line readings, and unintentionally hilarious interactions between performers. Which isn't to say that it's always unspoofable, however, because the very things that make porn possible—like cheap hotel rooms and even cheaper video cameras—are also accessible to anyone with a sense of humor. The often shirtless host of Very Bad Porn, Chelsea Humboldt, stumbles his way through plenty of explicitly unsexual situations, like a close call with a MILF who turns out to actually be his mom, a threesome with roommates who happen to be on the same menstrual cycle, and an incident with an "exotic" woman who educates him on the difference between Indians and Pakistanis. Way to kill the fantasy for us, Chelsea. Good thing you provided us with one of the best laughs we've had all week. -AR
