We've never really had the patience to wade through flea markets and garage sales, hunting for buried treasure in other people's trash (we do our junk shopping online), which is too bad because we'll never experience the thrill a collector must feel when stumbling upon something wonderful—like a giant box of vintage spanking photos from the 1950s. Thankfully, there are bloggers out there who do find such hidden gems and are nice enough to share them with us lurkers on the internet. One lucky photo hunter's recent acquisition included dozens of professionally made pictures, along with newspaper clippings and letters, all saved (presumably) by one very serious spanking fan. (Fortunately, he ignored one letter writer's instructions to throw away her fantasy note.) The snaps are pretty tame by contemporary standards, but it's still a fascinating look at our porn past—and an unsettling reminder that your grandparents may have been a lot freakier than you realized.
