Does this trailer for Spice Studios' "Ashes to Ashes" make any sense to anyone? At first it wants you to think it's a sendup of a classic film noir detective story, then suddenly it's about some Tolkeinesque magic book from the past, ... then before you know it, there's all these naked bodies and someone is mashing a cake into a woman's chest. Is this "The Maltese Falcon" or the Food Network? Maybe sometimes porn tries to get a little too clever for its own good. Or maybe we just don't have the attention span to follow complicated potboiler thrillers. Honestly, anything that lasts much longer than a blog post is probably too much for us. Now what were we talking about again? Oh, yeah ... cake!
