Tyra Banxxx in "America's Next Top Porn Model"

We should've known that pornstress Tyra Banxxx' tearful appearance on her namesake's daytime talk show last year would eventually wind up as PR material for a porn DVD: despite telling the real Tyra that she would stop using her name and quit the adult business, SexZ Pictures announced the release this week of "America's Next Top Porn Model", directed by Roy Karch and starring the repornified Banxxx. Says the porn Tyra about the real Tyra, "She wasn't all that nice to me when the cameras were off ... I mean she was all sweet during the show, but during the breaks, she was a little bit pissed off or something. I never wanted to quit adult but she made it seem like I was doing something terribly wrong which just wasn't the case." Meanwhile, Sex Z director Will Ryder takes the opportunity to read Ms. Banks on her apparent hypocricy: "I find it funny that a beautiful girl like Tyra Banks who made her career by walking the runways showing off her tits and ass would criticize a girl for making her living showing off her tits and ass. I really don't see the two career choices being polar opposites." It should be pointed out that none of the real Tyra's runway experiences featured things like blow jobs, threeways, or anal sex; nor did she appear in any Victoria's Secret campaigns with the likes of Felix Vicious, Veronica Jett, and Hailey Young. Still, maybe the exploitative difference between a double penetration and denying your writers health insurance benefits isn't as clear cut as some people think.
