Not to worry if you weren't there back in January to experience the magic firsthand: Playboy's Spice Studios captured every bit of this year's AVN Awards in a ballroom at the Venetian in Las Vegas, and added a couple of hardcore scenes shot in the hotel rooms above. Hosted by pornstress Jesse Jane and comedian Greg Fitzsimmons, the awards were a bit more "together" this year, though it was a shame that most of the crowd couldn't sit still for Larry Flynt's speech—after all, Flynt is a big reason everyone was in that room and, by a not-too-lengthy extension, why blogs like this one exist. The two-disc DVD set will be released next week. We are hoping that intellectual property issues prevented the inclusion of the between-award "comedy" videos. - G. Ponante
