It was only this past August that superhero cheerleader Hayden Panettiere turned 18, but she's already become a favorite among celebrity babe watchers and is a regular fixture on gossip blogs. Things move fast in the go-go, always-on interweb world, but this sexy new photo spread in GQ magazine—coming hot on the heels of her first (sorta) upskirt photos—has us worried that maybe she's moving a bit too fast. Following the pattern of previous It-girls turned wild children, it should really be at least eight or nine months before she starts appearing on covers in her underwear, and another six months-to-a year before she stops wearing underwear, then four-to-six weeks after that before she makes out with a DJ in the back of Paris Hilton's car. At this rate, she'll be engaged to a snowboarder she met in rehab by New Year's.
Now, we hope she's merely joking about planning to be one of the "boring girls," because sexy young women are what keep us going each day, but we'd like to see Hayden avoid the burnout, trainwreck syndrome that seems to afflict our young starlets these days. We want fun, not drunkenly insane. Our advice: keep wearing bikinis to the beach and accept any movie role that involves wearing lots of spandex, but stay away from greasy rich boys and snotty heiresses, so that we can all enjoy many years of your fresh faced, good girl antics. Then when you're 28, you can pose for Playboy the way a former child actress is supposed to!
