History of Buttocks in Art

It often comes as a surprise to people to find out that several members of the Fleshbot editorial staff have academic backgrounds in art history, but the truth is that we don't see much difference in, say, curating a museum exhibit and deciding on which porn we're going to feature on the site every day: both involve selecting visual examples which tell us something about the times in which they were created. Keep this in mind as you peruse this collection of butt-flavored artworks from antiquity to the 19th century, which illustrates one of our most cherished art historical lessons—trends and styles may come and go, but a pair of round and rosy cheeks is forever.
