Mardi Gras 2005 is already a hazy memory for those of us who live in New Orleans: all we remember is the crappy weather and relative lack of crowds this year, and if it weren't for a few faded strands of beads caught in the tree in front of the Fleshbot Central headquarters it'd be easy to believe the whole thing never happened. Good thing someone more conscienscious/less agoraphobic than us managed to brave the hurricane-swilling crowds on Bourbon Street and return with these photos to commemorate the festivities for posterity. We're already looking forward to next year—or will as soon as we're over the hangover we've had for the last three weeks.
