If the look (not to mention some of the models) of Vena Virago's "Silverlake Scenesters" seems a little familiar, it may have something to do with the fact that self-described "post feminist" director Virago is part of the same extended punk porn posse that includes altporn scion Eon McKai, superstar smut producer Malachi Ecks, and graphic design wunderkind Alaska. But Virago's sensibility is all her own, not surprising for a director whose first foray into smut combined the writings of Friedrich Nietzche with some down and dirty fucking. We'll find out when the DVD is released next week just how far beyond the pleasure principle those "Silverlake Scenesters" can go; in the meantime, the hardcore trailer will give you an idea of what's in store.
