2257 Lies

AVN's Mark Kernes makes a convincing argument that the US Department of Justice's new 2257 regulations are less about protecting children from pornographic exploitation than (surprise!) regulating porn businesses into logistical unfeasability, citing the law's ultimately unenforceable nature and evidence that the mainstream adult industry has already done a commendable job regulating itself in the past as far as utilizing underage performers is concerned: "Does it sound as if the 2257 statute can possibly accomplish the purpose for which it is allegedly intended?" We'll know after June 23 when the statute goes into effect whether it does or not.
